Excellent location. Staff was super friendly especially Rick at reception. Would definitely stay here again, great stay.

Nice location and it was quiet from the outside. However, the atrium is really loud. As the rooms are off the balcony you can hear the commotion in the bar and restaurant downstairs while you are in your room. Friday and Saturday night was very rowdy and it made it hard to get to sleep

Close approximately to the bay.

Nickeled and dimed over the rip off DESTINATION FEE which you are forced to pay whether you use the credits or not. I was charged 38,00 for "credits" for food/beverage etc and if I did not use them, I still had to pay the entire amount. You get "credited" for the money you already spent if you use them. GREED like this should be punished. I will never stay at this chain again and will tell everyone about this rip off. Taking advantage of people should be criminal.

One of my better hotels stays in recent months. Overall great job by staff. Highly attentive and friendly. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious, clean, and the beds very comfortable. I particularly love the bathroom because of the walk in shower with glass door. It's very spacious and beautiful all around. It's walking distance to the cable car and metro. I purchased a clipper card at Walgreens so I can use it for the cable car and metro. There is a Walgreens a block away. I highly recommend this hotel.

It was nice!

Service is lower than other JWs. The resort fee includes $20 daily food and beverages credit but you will end up spending way more if you use it at bar or restaurant. Parking too expensive but there is a cheaper parking across the street and around hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located near Chinatown and a less than a 20 minute ride to Fisherman's Wharf. Being a Marriott Bonvoy member I received a free room upgrade to a suite which was very nice of the staff. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a walk-in shower. The drinks at the Level 3 bar were good but pricey. I was not happy about the hotel's $38 destination fee. It's a completely made up fee by Marriott and is not mandated by the city. Marriott does not mention this fee on their website. They inform you about it when you check in. They charge this 'destination' fee EVERY DAY you stay there and you can't opt out of it. Even more infuriating is they give you back $20 in credits each day but you have to spend it that day or lose it. You're forced to use these stupid credits at the hotel. We ended up buying overpriced $7 bottled water and snacks every day at their tiny convenience store.
