The location of the hotel was great. Walking distance from cable cars and subway. You could tell they did a good job cleaning, but the hotel was older and the bathrooms need updating and possible repairs.

Excellent location, large room, bed was comfortable. No A/C, just a ceiling fan. Lobby doors are locked overnight. You have to ring the doorbell if you get back late and wait for someone to let you in.

The location is very good The facilities are very outdated, the bath towels are torn, the hair dryer is broken, the bathroom sink drains slowly, often leaving standing water

The place was close to everywhere we wanted to go to. All the bus routes were close by. We found great restaurants near the hotel to eat at. When we checked in, there was a lady helping us. She was not as friendly as the other staff. Especially the Asian man who was on duty when we checked out around 10:30am and helped us out our luggage away, he was great. The other man on duty was taller and he was very friendly. I think that one woman was just standoff-ish. We also had a do not disturb sign on the door but someone still definitely came in and fixed our bed. We can tell because the sheets were tucked in when we came back. If they could honor the sign. Also, I thought you had to ask for room keeping, which is fine with us. But we didn’t ask for room keeping and they still went in regardless

Gorgeous lobby; excellent location. Rooms clean and comfy. Water temperature would get scalding hot several times during a shower, but it is an old building, so some fluctuation is understandable.
