Love this location, amenities, rooms (and amenities)and staff. The parking fee and TAXES on this are RIDICULOUS. And an oversized vehicle fee for a standard SUV. THIS alone would keep me from coming back. The parking garage two blocks away is reasonable and we should have parked there.

Location Parking was very slow retrieving my car.
-
Location was near the city center, bed and pillows were comfy, big space of room, bathroom is not outdated. The shower sometimes takes a little while to heat up (usually in the evening and early morning).

The room was quite large and very comfortable. The location is great. The staff were excellent. The club facilities are good. Would like perhaps a bit more frequent servicing of the room, but most hotels are no longer doing it daily. It is necessary to pay for the higher speed internet because the reg internet is way to slow.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Club Donatello. As with the first time, we thought everything about it was terrific. The room was very large. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the sofa in the sitting area. The refrigerator and the microwave made it possible for us to have breakfast in the room and make sandwiches to take with us for lunch. We went up to the "Club" floor to get coffee and tea in the mornings. The location of Club Donatello was excellent for our purposes. Its proximity to Union Square made transportation easy. We traveled by trolley, subway, bus, and cable car during our 6-day stay. I wish there were a Club Donatello in all the cities we travel to. Nothing

Spacious rooms. Entrance and parking compromised by adjacent construction. Room not ready. Dated shower.
