The room was a decent size, but it was overcrowded with furniture, making it feel cramped and limiting mobility. Removing some of the unnecessary furniture and mounting the TV on the wall would make the space feel much more open and functional. One notable inconvenience is that the property does not provide ice machines. Guests must walk down the street to Jack in the Box if they need ice, which is unexpected for a hotel. Upon arrival, our room had trash left behind by the previous guest, and the towels were damp. After we notified the front desk, the staff promptly addressed the issue by moving us to another room, which we appreciated. While the location is excellent and the staff was responsive, the property's age and overall condition detract from the experience. The hotel would benefit from renovations and updates to better meet guests' expectations.

From the first day we had many inconveniences. First of all, they gave us the wrong room, to add something else, the tub was clocked and the room had a strong musty smell. We were four guests and from the second day, they only gave us three towels, I talked to the staff, but they didn't send me another towel. I didn't like the stay in that place.

Everyone is really nice that works here. The room fairly clean, nothing gross but worn out and could use an update. It’s secure and felt safe. It’s not frills and a place to sleep.
-
Fairly priced. Room was clean. The location was perfect, right in the center of downtown so a lot of restaurants and stores available. There is also access to transportation like the train station and city buses.

Took a while, but front desk staff worked it out, and we received equivalent accommodations for the equivalent number of people Hotel is older but in a convenient location in Downtown SF and affordable for a quick stay

We loved the location

The guy who worked the front desk during the day was very cool. He helped us a lot. Thanks!

Had a bad experience with reimbursement

Everything is good

Wouldn't recommend unless you want to save money. Even then, I would go for a 3 star hotel that costs a little bit more and you get a lot more safety and comfort.

Check in was difficult. They checked someone in fright before me. And then asked me to come back an hour later because my room wasn’t ready. Staff was so condescending. I’ve been to about 10 hotels in the area and never been treated that way. No breakfast.

Great location

Nothing

The room smelled like axe body spray. There were actual nails coming UP out of the FLOOR directly around the only sink. heard gunshots on night 1 (not their fault, but it should be noted for anyone else looking to stay).

It was ok. It was perfect for sleeping

Bad

Nothing Horrible service, unclean surrounded by homeless

There was both a convention and World Cup when we went, but this was very expensive for what you got. The staff was very friendly and our rooms were clean, but this an old hotel that is very beaten up. The shampoo and conditioner bottles are not labeled and the towels were very thin (and we did not get hand towels the second day). Good location if you are kind of desperate

The dealbreaker for me was waking up in the morning and seeing roaches watching me sleep from the nightstand.
