Warwick San Francisco
About Warwick San Francisco
Just 5 minutes’ walk to Union Square Park, this luxurious boutique hotel blends San Francisco Victorian décor with modern amenities like free WiFi in all rooms. A European bar, lounge and restaurant are onsite. Warwick San Francisco hotel is a captivating reflection of the city in which it resides, striking a perfect balance between authentic history and modern hospitality. Ideally located on Geary Street, just steps from bustling Union Square, the Theater District, and its world-class shopping and landmark attractions, this luxury boutique hotel is a residential-style hideaway in downtown San Francisco. Notably, the Warwick shares the same architect as San Francisco’s Coit Tower and City Hall, Arthur Brown Jr. Affectionately called the “The House of Sunshine”, this Beaux-Arts style hotel was established in 1913. Guests need to venture no further than the lobby for a taste of San Francisco. Indulge innovative Spanish tapas at the BOTA, or sample one of our curated cocktails at our bar, The European. In its simplicity and grace, Warwick San Francisco does not dictate the experience of its guests; rather it serves as an elegant backdrop for their own distinct story to unfold. Classic Victorian blue and white décor, blended with modern design elements such as, built-in USB ports, a flat-screen TV and a docking station are featured at Warwick San Francisco. A stylish gray sofa bed is featured in the spacious living room of select suites. Concierge services are available to help guests reserve priority seating at Aveline and other nearby attractions. San Francisco International Airport is 20 minutes’ drive away. Moscone Center and the Yerba Buena Gardens are within 6 minutes’ walk of the Warwick San Francisco.

Room was clean and hotel conveniently located

Lovely professional staff. Beautiful establishment.

The v fireplace wasn’t working and the situation was remedy before we returned in a few hours. Every evening greeted by our names. They also presented us with a dessert for our 40th anniversary. The best hotel with staff we’ve stayed at in many years. This was a return stay and we will definitely be returning

One of our rooms was not ready 30 minutes after check in time. The front desk then said they would upgrade to a Grande Suite but that’s what we had already paid for. Felt like they were trying to be sneaky about it after I showed them what we had booked. Then comes the “destination fee”. This was explained as $31. The actual amount is $37 per day. So on top of the amount I already paid for 2 rooms, I am being charged another $150. That is unacceptable- I spoke with customer service after seeing the charge but they said nothing could be done. I do not recommend the Warwick due to the shady practices. Spend your money elsewhere

Staff were very nice and helpful. I would return if price was little lower. Room could have been bit cleaner. Location of hotel was decent for getting around downtown.

We had a wonderful stay with our two boys to kick off our Nor Cal vacation. Staff was always attentive, friendly and helpful, we received a complimentary wine glass per night stay (a very nice surprise), service was quick to reply to room requests, hotel was quiet and perfect area to stay in Union Square. We stood in a King Suite and it was so spacious - bathroom too! We also loved that it had a balcony- such a treat to access and open the window and see/hear the city life. We also happened to be in town the day of the World Cup final. Many of the sports bar/restaurants were all full to capacity as we looked around on our own (our son is a big fan of the sport) hoping to find something nearby so we could watch it and luckily, the hotel Manager, Shay, was quick to offer his recommendation- a nearby pub/restaurant that was a quick 2 blocks up and needless to say, we got to see the game and it was perfect. The manager made my son so happy-- we were so grateful too! Thank you for a great way to end our stay in SF. Highly recommend the Warwick!

Our room was damp& smelt. construction was happening at the hotel! We were moved twice and had to leave the hotel. They made us pay for the room & Even though we didn’t park they charged us to park too!
-
The location I am deeply disappointed and outraged by this service. Recently, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $200 on my account with zero advance notice, permission, or clear explanation Having that amount of money disappear out of nowhere is completely unacceptable. I am demanding an immediate full refund. I am leaving this review to warn other users to closely monitor their financial information here

Loved the room, I had a corner room.
-
Isn't much community space. We were visiting with family, and there wasn't much space to visit with them outside of our rooms.

I found bed bugs. I found bed bugs.

Construction going on but was fined room had new carpet. A/C lagged a bit. Older building but they’ve kept up. The perfume candle in the lobby was a bit much.

Location We have booked Deluxe Double Rooms and according to the info on Booking the room size should be 29m2 but they ware not!!! Maybe the size of the room is max 18m2!!! SO the info on Booking is not true!!!!! The Rooms have been booked for 3 people each but the rooms were prepared only for 2 persons (Towels/cups ect) - we had to ask the stuff everyday to bring additional things for the the third person.

The check-in staff person was extremely rude. I had just wanted to know how long the room would take to be ready (I reached there 30 mins. before the 3 pm check-in time) after a 12 hour flight! They didn't offer water osrt of r any feeling of being welcomed was totally lacking. The food is over priced. Don't have the paella.
