Beautiful lobby and room and a friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
-
The hotel is in a prime location, close to many attractions and great places to eat. It was very clean, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, including the front desk team, the bell staff, and the housekeeping staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Decent place for the price
-
A lovely and quiet oasis in busy San Francisco, an affordable place close to union square -
-
Location is excellent close to Train Stations and many coffee shops and restaurants!

What really made this hotel stand out was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out a little later than the standard times, which made our trip much more enjoyable. It was also very convenient to have the restaurant located right downstairs. The restaurant manager was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. We would definitely stay here again.
-
The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was small. The bathroom in the room was not the same as the website picture. The hotel is in the “Tenderloin district” meaning it’s where the homeless people stay. We did get free breakfast for our stay but it was for one specific meal.

The staff is very friendly

Thank you for our nice stay, Marker!
-
Great location, large rooms, great ambience in the lobbies with grand fire places.
-
This is a tired hotel with a thin cosmetic makeover. The room was fine but sort of old feeling and tacky and the bathroom needs a full redo. None of the outlets in our room worked properly and several sparked, as did the non stop flickering lights in our bathroom, even after they replaced the bulb. Restaurant was pretty excellent food and everyone was very nice and helpful, however. The area of town is beyond gross - the streets are about 50-70% wandering methheads.
-
The only downside was the location. While it’s close to Union Square, it’s also very close to the Tenderloin. We frequently encountered people openly using drugs and a large number of homeless individuals, especially when walking to and from the hotel. At times, it made us feel uncomfortable and less safe than we would have liked. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend using Uber in the evenings rather than walking. Overall, the hotel was great, but the surrounding area definitely affected our experience.
-
Very clean hotel. Front desk staff helpful and nice. Hotel itself outdated but comfortable. Overall decent stay.
-
Very comfortable rooms. Check in staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again
-
This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The decor was stunning, the lobby and lounging spaces were lovely, the staff was helpful, our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated.... 1000% would recommend. Zero complaints. Thank you for an amazing stay....we will definitely be back!
-
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. My only downside was the surrounding area. Overall, it was still a good stay.
-
Nice staff,, convenient location, comfortable bed. Shower pressure was mediocre. Room had numerous power outlets - so helpful when we had cellphones, EarPods, battery packs and laptops to charge. Room also had desk chair, club chair and an ottoman - so that more than 1 person can sit. Powell St station is just a 5 min walk away; catch the BART or Caltrain. Many great food options nearby - including GF options which is what we needed. Note - hotel’s location, though convenient, is in a sketchy part of SF, known as “the tenderloin”. Our Uber driver cautioned us not to walk around in certain streets.

The staff was exceptionally kind and courteous. 2 blocks from union square made it convenient. Room was quite clean, and a decently sized suite.
