My stay at the Marker was just what I needed. My room was small but modern, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. I needed some hot water to make tea at night and the staff gave me a kettle to keep in my room. The location is close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

The service and feel was 5 star. The gym was LifeFitness and worked with Apple tech. The dumbells were excellent and I got a great workout. Then the wine by the fireplace was very romantic. Easy access to 7-11 and Ross and downtown and to the trolley. So easy to walk if you love walking but compare all forms of transportation including Waymo before selecting they compete. The hotel colors light the sky and it feels good. The refreshments and outdoor drinks were outstanding. The recommendations were stellar. The staff was culturally responsive and humorous. The place would be a place “I prefer.” Once you have been you will understand.

It is in the tenderloin district/neighborhood but I felt very safe the entire time I was here as a solo female traveler. It is such a short ride from so much cool stuff and very walkable!

This hotel was amazing from our host Charles that treated like family to the staff. The rooms super clean and spacious and super close to the main stores and restaurants.

The location was convenient, the staff were exceptional, the rooms were perfect and the place always smelled amazing. I didn’t like that my stay came to an end.

Add to this the location, very easy to access airport, and all the main tourist destinations from the hotel by either public transit, walking or Uber. I would definitely stay there when I visit SF again.
