The room was very clean and exactly like the photos. The breakfast had a bunch of choices to pick out from. The staff was very friendly and helpful they keep the front lobby locked so no random people can just come into the building. That made me feel much safer.

The bed was actually quite comfortable with ample amounts of pillows. The shower was spacious and had good pressure. The room was extremely small, but it was all you needed. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. The continental breakfast was simple, but enough to get you going for the day (and with how expensive San fran is, it was nice to have breakfast provided twice!) I would definitely recommend staying here if your in San Francisco. It's easy to get around by public transportation and there are good places to eat close by. Next time I go to San Francisco, I'll be trying to stay here again.

Bed sheets on day 2 turned down. Coffee stains from previous guest on sheets

Breakfast was just basic but definitely helpful to start the day. Lots of restaurants and shops around the place and hence very much convenient for a short stay in SF. Also value for money.
-
not much Although it is located near Union square (central area), the hotel is on a terrible street with lots of drunken aggressive homeless and open drug use. It was very dangerous. I almost got robbed by one of the homeless so I had to find another hotel and move out.

They changed me $100 deposit and they don't refund the money yet. I left the place very cleaned and organized and I made video.just in case.

Check-in was straightforward, and I appreciated that the staff accommodated my request for a one-hour late check-out without any issues. The room itself was clean but quite noisy. Amenities were minimal, consisting of two small bottles of water and a coffee machine, with little else provided. Wifi didn't work Breakfast was very basic, one thing that stood out was the lack of drinking water. Coffee and orange juice were available, but there was no water offered during breakfast. I later discovered there was a water refill station on the fifth floor, where guests were expected to bring their own bottle or container. While I understand this may be influenced by California’s environmental regulations, simply providing a jug of drinking water in the breakfast area would have been an easy and thoughtful solution. Overall, this is a budget hotel, and in an expensive city like San Francisco, you largely get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a clean place to sleep at a lower price point, it serves its purpose, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

Nothing! Disgusting, filthy area! Swarms of homeless people!
-
Clean No place to park the room was small. The windows were lifted like a half an inch or so, but I don’t know why but they wouldn’t go. The area was pretty congested.
-
Many homeless surrounding entrance (but safe) Room has everything you need but is small
-
Transit access from 23,th Street BART or Broadway to...pro employee mellow. Nice room. Still as graceful as in the early 90s. Rises above the typecast to reach community as respect. Thank you. Concerns for the world today amid peace.

It’s nice reception was friendly

The hotel was amazing and met our expectations for the price. Location was central to union center so, easy for transportation. We have four people in a double room and it worked out perfectly. The provided breakfast was basic with yogurt, bagels, packaged baked good, and coffee/tea. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. Outside the neighborhood had interesting individuals, but this is no fault of the hotel.
-
Saw some small bugs near the fridge. The TV is not positioned near the bed at all so its in a weird angle. In a shady area near tenderloin.
-
location in the middle of union square, next to a bus stop, close to everything, can not be more convenient. The room looks exactly like the picture. breakfast very limited, homeless people at the door of the hotel, no light in the room nor closet but the size is fair
-
Comfortable bed, large bathroom Location close to Tenderloin
-
Wi-Fi was unusable Hat to run hot water 10min to get Hot water Breakfast was simple. No hot food, but decent location was perfect
-
The surrounding neighborhood does not feel safe. Union Square itself, however, is a nice place.
