The building is old but that is no excuse for how filthy it was. My room and the hallways reeked of marijuana, although there was a no smoking policy. The room’s sheets and towels were clean, but I think the filthy elevator and floors and smell just turned me completely off. I’ll pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

The room we were given looked ok. Though when we got back at 9:30 pm we noticed the TV didn’t work and then the light on the fan was possessed. Every 10 minutes it turned on by itself until we had to move to a new room at 11:30 pm. The breakfast was good, though they charged for the coffee🙄 I requested a refund and haven’t heard back from any manager!! Not worth what they charged and there’s many other options to stay where they may take pride in their property. I mark this as a 1 1/2 stars since the breakfast was good and the location was fair.

Place was ok. 5 trash bins by loading area in front of hotel with homeless man digging in them made it hard to unload right out the driver’s side door. Elevator was tiny. Room enough for two men and a couple pieces of luggage. Water wasn’t warm enough to be comfortable and no pillows provided for sofa bed and we were told that there wasn’t housekeeping available to bring any pillows up. Also, only parking available was valet that they charged $78 for. Otherwise pretty comfortable bed and nice size room. We stayed in the Jr. Suite. Staff was friendly. Bring cash in small increments as nobody was able to break a bill to tip the staff.

The room is misleading. Very old design.

Our room was very big and very comfortable. Great value. On site restaurant was delicious and staff was very pleasant.

I was greatly disappointed in this hotel. I booked a room with a bathtub to bathe my children and it didn’t even have a plug. Along with that our fridge and phone didn’t work. We then had to switch rooms twice with two young kids at 8pm at night. From the 4th floor to the 2nd with a very small elevator. I will never come back.

You can say you get what you pay for. The hotel smelled dirty the elect was smelly and dirty like it had not been cleaned in years. Our tv room didn’t get any channels. I would definitely not recommend not stay there again not a very good experience for a first time in San Francisco…

Al momento de reservar mediante Expedia, el hotel ofrecía servicio de desayuno pero, al llegar al hotel no hubo desayuno disponible.

Friendly staff, decent rooms, clean and reasonably priced. The elevator is a bit small, but that wasn't much of a problem.

The restaurant food was amazing, as was their cocktails. The bedroom was perfect in every way, including a remote control ceiling fan with light

If you can choose another hotel, do so. This property took an hour to get me my room they took forever to bring me my car. This property feels very unsafe. The door wouldn't shut, right it had play. They were allowing Uber eats to go all the way up to peoples rooms. Very unsafe property! RUN!

The hotel was mostly clean but objects dropped by guests along the stairwell and hallway were left for more than a day (lip gloss, room key, pizza crust, candy wrapper). The elevator was extremely small and stair use was actually encouraged via signage next to the elevator. My compact SUV was upcharged for parking even though it is not a large vehicle. My biggest complaint is that this hotel's location was advertised as a Union Square hotel but it is very clearly in the Tenderloin, a pretty undesirable neighborhood in SF. My other big complaint is that the hotel advertised soundproof rooms which couldn't be further from the truth. My "neighbors" conversations sounded like they were occurring within my own room. Additionally, the majority of photos shown of the rooms did not look anything like the room I was in and the fitness center that is open 24 hours has very little equipment and is very small (no more than 2 people could work out in there at a time). I am not very particular about the softness of the bed but this one wasn't; the description mentioned pillow top matresses but this one felt like your run of the mill spring matress. Lastly, the toilet flush was ridiculously loud (and yes, i could hear the adjoining room's flush as well) Overall, I feel that very deceptive practices were used to promote this hotel.

What I didn't like was that there wasn't a parking garage. There is a valet option but we had to use the cart to bring our own luggage in and to our rooms and only one person could be in the elevator with the cart so the remaining 3 had to wait for that one to go up to her floor and send the elevator back down to us. I didn't like that although the 2 rooms were booked together, we were put on the 6th floor and the 8th floor instead of together. I especially didn't like that there was only 1 elevator. And as luck would have it, it broke down right before we were about to go to our room on the 8th floor. I have limited mobility due to a bad car wreck and was using a cane. I'm lucky to do one flight of stairs and even that takes work and 8 (128 steps per the sign next to the elevator about being heart conscious and how many steps there were to each floor) flights took a lot of perseverance, determination and time. I could barely walk when I finally reached the 8th floor. And then, when we got up to leave the next morning...surprise...it still was down so my granddaughter and I headed back down the stairs with our luggage. Staff was great at apologizing

Hotel itself was good even though it’s in a little bit of a sketchy neighborhood. Would recommend otherwise.

Had a great stay very cozy and a great option for when on a budget. The bathroom is a little smaller than anticipated and not much counter space but it gets the job done. The cafe and restaurant are very conveniently placed on the first floor and the microwave and water refill is downstairs. Very great room for a small week trip.
