The hotels carpets need an upgrade in the rooms, there were dirty stains all over the carpet. The website shows a bar in the lobby and this is one of the reasons why I booked there besides being relatively close to everything. There is no bar in the lobby.

Perfect spot for us! Would definitely stay there again!
-
Great location. Clean. Comfortable beds / cotton sheets. Excellent continental breakfast with fresh coffee / tea, croissants and pastries. Convenient parking garage across the street.
-
Great place. In the center of everything. Just a short walk to the hop on Hop off bus stop

The staff was amazing. Unfortunately the hotel was not. The rooms were tiny and had no air conditioning. I had to pay extra to upgrade to a room with a wall unit that made more noise than the construction next door. The morning service was the same pastries with no fruit as advertised. The rooms has a funny smell probably because the carpets were old and stained. The lobby was the best part of the hotel. I was hoping the bar would be open but it never was. They also rarely checked for the toiletries in the room were refilled. I waited days for tissue paper.

I loved the location and the parking across the street not very expensive. Also the rate for the room was perfect.
-
The room was cleaned and the bed was good but the carpet and windows need to be replaced. I also like the complimentary breakfast - plenty of bake goods, coffee, and hot/cold water.
-
Super average and quite tired. Comfortable bed at least.
-
Avoid this hotel at any cost

Near BART, cable cars, trams etc. Nice little hotel close to everything. Only comment I would say is sadly as a whole SF has gone downhill rapidly in the last few years. Although we enjoyed our stay at this hotel we probably won’t be back to be SF area for a while!

-
Friendly staff, very accommodating. Comfortable bed. Very unique place to stay-this was our 6th visit!

The location is great and super close to union square, but I wouldn’t have minded to pay a bit more for a farther but nicer hotel.
-
Location, parking garage is literally across the street, the muni (train) is about 6min away as well as time square, close go restaurants and cafe. Neighborhood is clean and feels safe at night. Staff are very welcoming, they’ll hold your luggage for a long time while you venture out after check out. Beds are really comfortable. Everything was fine.
-
Pictures definitely deceiving - room did not have microwaves, extremely dirty carpets, small room. Lots of homeless outside in alley and in front of hotel. Elevator extremely small. Will never stay here again. Heard gun shots multiple times.
-
The building was really charming what I didn’t like was the elevator it took forever to use in terms of how long I had to wait until it got to whatever floor I was on
-
Great location and helpful staff.
