We had a very nice stay. Different from what we are accustomed to beings it is a Hostel. But everything was good and we have no complaints!

Perfect for a solo traveler! This hostel is very affordable and safe, especially thanks to the 4-person female dorms. The common areas are perfect for meeting people and having a good time. I had an excellent week-long stay in the heart of San Francisco and it was good quality for the price of the stay.

They have a kitchen in the common area along with industrial fridges to store your food. Elevator is old and moved slowly so if you're in a room on the fifth floor, be prepared to walk 5 flights lol. They sell amenities and snacks at a reasonable price (a little more expensive but not crazy). If you live in the Bay area don't bring your car. I made that rookie mistake and paid 40 a day. You can get a voucher and lower this price by 8 bucks I believe it was. Chill vibe. Fun guests. Good staff.

The location is safe during the day, even tho there are a lot of homeless during the night but it’s fine. It’s near everything and for the price I think it’s amazing.

The hostel is situated in a central part of the city, with easy access to various transport links, restaurants and shops The building and the rooms are a bit old and are in need of some modernisation work

Hi San Francisco downtown is near Macy's, Union Square, and Trader Joe's. It's a very clean and comfortable hostel, with a modern and spacious kitchen and dining area where you can cook and enjoy your meals. The ADA shower room is spacious and lovely.

Hi San Francisco has always been my favorite spot in the City. I stayed there for many days while working at the Westfield Mall. The best Hostel in the City. No more breakfast because the coat of living is so high now.
-
location, well-equipped kitchen 4-bed dorm is very small.
-
Location was fantastic and the facilities were great. One member of staff who treated me like I was a criminal because I left my room card in the room by accident and decided to give me verbal abuse before he realised he was wrong.
-
The lap top lounge is a thoughtful amenity. Really surprised to find it. Most other hostels do not provide one The sink is in room and the room is carpeted. This make the floor seems hazardous
-
It is in downtown, convenient to get to anywhere you want
-
Central location close to many restaurants and public transpo A bit worn down compared to published pictures. Earplugs didn’t help much with the outdoor noise.
-
Great location. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were also clean with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Blazing saddles bike rentals offers a $24 dollar, 24hr rental for guests. I highly recommend this hostel!

The staff was really nice room was really clean

I mean it’s a hostel, so nothing fancy - but an incredibly cosy vibe. Really enjoyed my stay. Not in the best part of town, but I felt safe there with the locked door, staff at the front desk, and always people about.

It was good
