Excellent location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious for a vintage hotel. Post street restaurant and bar was a highlight, the staff were very attentive. I The Starlite rooftop lounge is a must see venue.

I liked that the Beacon Grand was central to things we wanted to do and see. It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was excellent. The reception desk staff was very helpful in assisting us in how to navigate San Francisco. Thank you.

The bathroom lights are on a auto shut off switch. After 3 minutes all lights turn off automatically. Scary if you are in the shower. Beautiful property and we felt safe.

Our room was elegantly designed with the best vibes and breathtaking views. The staff went above and beyond. They accommodated our requests happily. Our trip to San Francisco was filled with amazing memories and this hotel stay is definitely one for the books.

This is the type of Grand Dame hotel that people used to get excited about staying at. It's beautiful, clean, and approachable. The history oozes from every corner. Watch out for ghosts!!

Historic hotel , great location , friendly and staff Rooms soundproofing not the best , could hear next room and lots of noise from street even being on 11th floor

The staff from check in, to the restaurant staff were all courteous and helpful.

I wish there were extra blankets and pillows in the closet but other then that, I loved nt stay. Staff were nice and helpful. Love the blackout curtains. 10/10. No notes.

The location and how beautiful and stunning the hotel and decor is, we love all the original features. A host at the restaurant showed us round all the beautiful rooms (didn’t catch his name but he has worked there for 16 years) N/A

The staff was exceptional. The room was really nice and open and airy and handsome. The beds were comfortable. I truly loved the stay except the shower was one of those wide rain shower types and it was soooo hard to get it through my hair. The pressure was just too spread out. Kind of wrecked my morning shower. Also, the location seemed good at first, but we could not get a trolley to stop for us at that location. They were all full. We had to walk up and down hills to get to a better trolley area. Even the stops nearby on the walk toward the water also had full trolleys. Not the hotel’s fault, but does speak to the location at least in part.
