Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel

We had a wonderful stay in the Beacon Grand. This historical hotel exudes old world charm. The location is perfect, right smack in the center of San Francisco. Just a short walk from shopping, dining and entertainment. I would recommend it to family and friends traveling to San Francisco.

In general, hotel room was cleaned, location is great, services was great. It’s an old property that has its own character, but there are a few improvements that could be made, such as the carpets in the hallways to upscale it a little.

We had a great time at this property. The housekeeper was one of the best that we’ve had in a long time by attending to our needs and any additional requests. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was conveniently located. Room was on the smaller side but well appointed. The fridge in the room was not working but was replaced. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, close to Union Square but quiet, beautiful public spaces and lobby bar, friendly and professional service. Nothing!

For downtown, a great location. The restaurant was a nice vibe for late afternoon cocktail/ snack. We had fun at the Starlite! Great ambience and music! Easy to grab Ubers anywhere and lots of cute cafes and restaurants nearby. Walls were thin- I could hear people coughing and talking. Bathroom set up was lacking a bit.

Great place, charming and historic

The staff was very nice and friendly. The bedroom itself was tastefully done. The bathroom was extremely tiny. There was no counter space to put a cosmetic bag or other items which would make it difficult for a woman traveling. The closet was also extremely small.

The rooms were very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the location was great and the restaurant was delicious!

This place was beautiful and very picture as you walk in through the doors there’s construction currently going on outside, so it’s easy to miss from the road. The staff were amazing. The bar and lounge area were amazing. The setback was the actual room not as pictured pretty small outdated appliances and the shape that tub was in. It needed work.

Leaving from the property. Small and old room, no closet for clothes, very bad bathroom, very expensive parking.

The room was pretty small for the cost and needs to be updated… A couple of the outlets didn’t work and the shower didn’t seem very practical
