Hotel Emblem San Francisco

Loved this hotel. Good location. Staff all super friendly. Room very comfortable and unlike so many chains, provided housekeeping every day, which made it very special. Would highly recommend for a stay in San Francisco

Tight room for 2 people. Better for single travelers. I stayed here once before on a work trip by myself and remember that being a better experience. The room was in good condition with a comfortable bed. Having an interior courtyard room meant that the room was dark and quiet!

Great location, nice bar and coffee shop in the morning. Rooms are small but clean and well appointed. Valley parking is expensive but there is a garage less than a block away

The only downside is the room was very dark with no ability to lighten it - it was like living in a cave!

The property is older but has been renovated, so I was expecting more of a clean, modern, luxury feel. Unfortunately, our first room had mold in the shower, and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom also felt unclean. Overall, the room had an old, dusty, and musty feeling rather than the luxury atmosphere I expected. They did move us to another room, which I appreciated, but by that point, the experience had already been disappointing. I wanted to leave the property, but I felt forced to stay because they would not refund my second night. Honestly, I would have rather stayed at Hotel Phoenix, which has fewer stars but may have provided a much better overall experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. The star rating set expectations for a luxury stay, but my actual experience fell far short

I hope to visit SF again just so I can stay here!!! The staff is outstanding - friendly, helpful, and gave amazing dinner recommendations. The property is in a great location and SOO cute! Don’t hesitate booking this one

Great location, great staff and cool vibe! Really enjoyed stay here. Only downside is the noise of Sutter street (people on sidewalks and nearby bar) can be a bit loud late into PM. Great location as base camp for San Francisco visit!

The rooms were really beautifully designed and the hotel has a unique identity. The bar is inviting and the happy hour has a good vibe. The coffee shop attached is really useful for the morning. We really enjoyed our stay!

Renovated older hotel with a cool literary/artsy vibe. The double beds seemed smaller than the norm, but they were comfortable. Valet parking is pricey and self park nearby is still almost $50 per night. But it's a great, safe location with restaurants nearby and streetcar pickups to take you to the pier. Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay here again,

I really like this place.

There were a couple of minor maintenance issues during our stay. The shower head was broken, and the AC made a somewhat concerning noise when it was starting up or shutting down, almost as if it was struggling. That said, neither issue negatively impacted our overall experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Emblem and would happily stay here again. The positives far outweighed the minor maintenance issues, and we had a great time in San Francisco.
