Hyatt Place San Francisco Downtown

A quick heads-up for future guests regarding logistics: parking is offsite, and you will need to haul your luggage from the street all the way to your room yourself. If you are traveling heavy, just keep that in mind and plan accordingly! Despite the minor workout at check-in, the excellent service, cleanliness, and great food make this hotel an easy recommendation. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place, great location, kind staff, delicious breakfast!

We experienced the same thing with the staff in the morning and in the evening. The breakfast had everything you could want except made to order omelettes. It is walkable to the Ferry building in Barca arrow and many other places, but it’s easy to get, transportation if you prefer that or an Uber.

Good breakfast and nice clean room

Great free breakfast-good variety and quality. Proximity to Oracle Park(less than a block) and many restaurants and night spots in easy walking distance. Disappointed they ended their valet parking service, which is useful in this area. However they found us a spot in their small self parking garage and we appreciated the staff’s helpfulness and problem solving attitudes. We’ll definitely stay there for future visits to Oracle Park and SF.

Friendly staff, good breakfast

Well organized, well maintained, professional staff, and very clean. Overall, the hotel was a great place to stay. The only shortcoming is the lack of secure parking available on-site at a reasonable price.

Breakfast is great, staff is friendly and it’s a perfect location if you come to town for Giants games!

Breakfast was excellent

Never got my room cleaned one of the nights I was there. Ordered off room service one night and was told i would be notified when I could pick it up in the lobby. Was never noticed and eventually went down to discover it had been sitting there waiting for me. Tasted like it was there for a good 30 minutes before i showed up.
