It was okay for the price I paid, but I had to park down the block in a paid parking lot. Room was clean enough, but there was loud music from the bars downstairs and Nextdoor, so I did not get any rest. The windows are old, so not sealed properly which also let the noise in. The stairs up to check in and halfway smelled like urine. The bathroom situation was a little different as well. Yes, you share the restroom with your floor, but there is only one toilet in one room and the shower and sink are in the room Nextdoor, so you can’t wash your hands right after you use the bathroom. You do have a sink in your room, but I prefer to wash my hands before I exit the restroom and start touching door handles. The bed was okay, sheets were clean, floor was clean, and tv worked, lights worked, door locked. The man who checked me in was kind. I did find a closer parking garage next to the hotel AFTER I parked down the block at $30 flat fee. Kind of bummed about that. I didn’t like having to walk that far with all of my bags and I really didn’t like having meth cloud blown in my face by the druggies on the street, but it is the city. Hotel was okay though.

Good location, nice staff, clean room and toilets.

Rooms have a bed and maybe a desk in one chair kinda looks and feels like a prison. The gentleman behind the counter is actually very nice, but the entirety of the building could use some love.

This was a HORRIBLE experience!!!! I didn’t even stay there.

I hate writing bad reviews, but this one truly earns it. The location, even though it is close to downtown, is on the bad side of town. The building is very old and poorly maintained. The furniture in the room was ripped and very old. The curtains had holes from cigarette burns. The TV has to be plug/unplug to turn on/off because the remote didn't work. No heat or A/C. There is no staff present, only one unfriendly (rude) guy who checks you in once you ring the doorbell and go up the stairs since there is no lobby. One shared bathroom and one shared shower for the whole floor; if you don't mind that, you are better off at a hostel, which would be cheaper. We didn't feel safe, tried canceling the reservation, and were told there were no refunds regardless of whether we stayed or not. Contacted Expedia, and they had the same answer from the person answering them. It doesn't feel like a safe place to stay, especially if you are a female traveling solo or with another girl. Sadly, this was the worst experience we ever had with a hotel from Expedia, and we use them a lot around the world.

Bang for the buck it can't be beat!

    Always pleasant. Thank you.

The staff on the front desk was unnecesary rude and helpless, asking questions to the guest that they don't even care, the host have to runaway to another place.

Very budget friendly hotel and the quality reflects that. The staff are friendly. The room floor was lower on one side of the room. It was a like a fun house, I would lose balance every time I got off the bed. So that's a bonus I guess ? Everything was clean but it had the feel of landlord special as far as how everything was put together. I would say again because of the price.

Single person. Affordable. Clean. No frills, but exactly what I needed. A step up than a traditional hostel.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The TV didn’t work. There was no electricity in the room and there was nowhere in your mention of that that the whole entire Floor had to share a bathroom. This was an inappropriate inappropriate property for you to be dealing with. I checked in and checked out within 10 minutes and I want my money back. It was a deceitful on your part and didn’t adequately describe any of how horrible was I want my money back.

Personally like the soft bed, clean sheets It’s perfect for the type of hotel it is.

    clean room

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Staff was not helpful and the room was not clean. If you plan on staying here you will have to walk out your room and go down the hall to use the bathroom and shower.

Limited TV, Modern basic electronics. Shared bathroom is always an adventure.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

It’s was nice for what it was

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Location does not tell you about the250 safety deposit, sketchy management, unpleasant experience wouldn’t recommend

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Fine I guess. If you're a solo traveler on a budget, you can do far worse

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Overall it was okay for a night.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

You get what you paid for. The room was good and clean and the bathroom as well. The only thing that got into my nerves is that the hotel is above a live bar which plays loud music until midnight. The windows also are not sealed well so you will hear every single one talking down your window. So if you are planning to sleep before midnight, stay away from this hotel. Other than that, It is okay.
