Great place to stay. On the edge of SOMA right near Folsom street. Had a wonderful stay there with my partner. Great location and the rooftop bar/ restaurant has great breakfasts. Highly recommend.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel frequently. I arrived around 10 PM after being told that the hotel had parking. When I arrived, the parking attendant told me there was nothing he could do and that I would have to leave my car in a Walmart parking lot. I was not comfortable leaving my car overnight in a random parking lot in downtown San Francisco, so I went inside to speak with the front desk. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable. The front desk employee would barely even look at me while I was speaking to him. He actually walked away while I was talking, came back, and told me, “It is what it is.” When I asked why guests were not informed about the parking situation beforehand, he told me it would not be shown on the website and walked away again. When I explained that I did not feel safe leaving my car there, instead of apologizing or trying to offer another parking option, he simply told me I could “go somewhere else.” At that point, I canceled my stay. Because of how the situation was handled, I was left at nearly 11 PM having to search for another hotel and find somewhere else to stay for the night. After traveling and arriving late, this was the last thing I should have had to deal with. The most disappointing part was not even the parking situation—it was the complete lack of professionalism, respect, and concern from the staff. No apology, no attempt to help, and no alternative solution offered. I have stayed at many hotels and have never experienced customer service like this. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend this property, especially if you are arriving late and traveling with a vehicle.

The room was beautiful and clean. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great - the craft cocktails and food were excellent. There was a nice coffee shop on the ground floor that also served good breakfast sandwiches.

The rooms are very small, and I felt the pictures online were somewhat deceiving. The bathroom was especially cramped, and the layout was awkward , the toilet seat was broken— you actually have to walk through the bathroom area to get to the bedroom. The valet situation was also frustrating. The valet attendant wasn’t there when we arrived, so I ended up leaving our key with the registration desk. At $75 a night for valet parking, I expected a much smoother experience. Parking in downtown San Francisco is already difficult, so the added expense and inconvenience were disappointing. We also had an unpleasant experience with victor the bartender, who was not very friendly and acted as though we were bothering him. The coffee shop also closes fairly early, however when they are open there coffee & treats are an A+. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, though, between the small rooms, cramped bathrooms, parking/valet issues, and the downtown location being hectic, we were disappointed with our stay. For the price, we expected more, and we would not choose to stay here again.
