Hotel is nicer, but if you check in when none of the bell hops are there be prepared to carry luggage up all the stairs to the front. Would be nice if there was a sign or call signal out there or something. Check in was good, room was good. Staff was friendly. We stayed here and paid the extra money to do so for the spa. However, the spa was quite a let down. The staff at the spa didn't tell us anything about the spa, just its down stairs. The website talks about different paths to use each room, like it was an organized, thoughtful experience. None of that was what we experienced in person. You get down to the basement and there are rooms, in no order or map to suggest order, etc. Several of the rooms were not working right. You could see lots of maintenance issues that were left. Also, most sadly, the 'world famous' snow shower, which is still advertised on their website, is shutdown and they said they won't be bringing it back. This was a big driving reason to pick this spa as we have been all over the world and never seen a snow shower. Of all the spas we have been, this one was probably bottom 10%. With the snow shower down, and they didn't have their little ice face splash area, they had no cold water for recovery. I spent most my time there between the sauna (with broken scent infusers) and a regular shower that I could get kinda cold. For sure not worth the extra price for the spa access.

It’s home away from home from me. You can’t beat the convenience of the location. If you’re in town to work, the location. Is a huge win. Not a spa, but well well thought out rooms at a very reasonable rate.

Superb location and price, great staff

The bathrooms and showers were all clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive.

It was smart and clean. Very modern. Nothing. I loved it.

The biggest problem I encountered was inadequate soundproofing - the couple in the next room sounded like they were in my lap. Don’t count on the usual hotel bells and whistles: there’s no coffee maker (they do serve coffee in the lobby in the morning), no mini-fridge, no microwave, no dresser, and just a small clothing rack in lieu of a closet, so pack accordingly). Room cleaning is by request only and I did not have occasion to use it, although when my tv remote died, someone was up with fresh batteries shortly after I called. The hotel adjoins a restaurant called The Harlequin (okay, not exceptional), and is within a couple of blocks of restaurants, retailers, a multiplex and other conveniences.

Thae cleaning staff. Almost everything. The staff were rather flippant when asking about a concern. The room was ridiculously small. My bathroom at home was much larger. I paid over $600 dollars for four nights when I could have got a much more comfortable property for far less.

Location was perfect. Hotel was clean and staff was nice. Only drawback was the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable: Back was hurting a little after 3 nights stay but would stay again for a short trip.

Very small clean room. No AC in my room. TV was old and didn't work particularly well.

I love its old time feel, yet the modern touches, the location is perfect to everything fun and staff was exceptional and gave us a beautiful room with a view

The room was incredibly stuffy and warm, and I checked into my room and found a used bandaid stuck on the surface of the shower. I advise others to reconsider when they're thinking about booking a room here

Overall good place to stay. It was clean, they had everything you may need. But it was pretty far from places I wanted to see. Would stay here again just for the price though.
