The Pickwick Hotel

They don’t tell you parking is additional 60$ for a holiday it’s almost as much as the 96$ rate offered. Lol ! Anything to make a buck I guess.

Hotel is old but clean. Bathroom is small. Area is not great so having valet parking at hotel is great. Staff was great. Would I stay again? No. Only because I didn’t feel comfortable with location.

Roaches

Room was great. Staff was friendly. And if you’re too early, the staff can hold your bags in storage until check-in. Deposit is better if you plan to go only on night. And you get the deposit back within 2 hours. Great hotel. Close to BART, restaurants and AMC theaters. Highly recommended. 9/10.

Nice staff, older property, has been renovated, some rooms and areas do feel dark and gothic. Carpets could use a refresh, some paint here and there, but kept clean. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Hotel is old and worn but well maintained. Employees super helpful. Good restaurant and bar located inside hotel also across the street.

Good location. Ok cleaness. Since its a very old building with old fixtures, cant say its very clean despite the bedding was clean and comfortable. I slept well but since the soundproofing was terrible, my mom couldn't sleep well...

Location by Union square and BART station was excellent. The sitting areas in the lobby and mezzanine area were retro and welcoming. My room was a perfect size with all the necessary amenities. Receptionist was gracious in allowing me to check in early. Building is old but that is part of its charm.

FRIENDLY STAFF MEMBERS! Old designs and history of the hotel! Many restaurants and stores nearby! Pretty much centered in the downtown! Well job by securities inside the hotel! Nice and secured parking underneath the hotel! Beautiful hotel with most friendly and helpful staff members! Pretty unsafe to walk around the block, and nearby blocks due to homeless. Very filthy sidewalks... Unsafe for any smokers who needs to go out for a walk! Pretty much rude people, probably because of PRIDE weekend? FIFA event? HARD to find the entrance, getting in to get settled, and the parking for the first timers like us! Pretty small and tight parking spot!
