Good central location, close to transit. Just beware, it’s a busy neighborhood with lots of transients, so you’ll need to be ok with that. I stayed here years ago when it was a hostel. I chose it again for my recent trip because the listing stated it had been remodeled and was now a “hotel”. Aside from some new furniture and paint, the place hasn’t changed. Tiny rooms that looked much bigger in the photos. A communal bathroom in which the light didn’t work, and management wouldn’t fix when we notified them. And last but not least, a bed sheet with an obvious blood stain on it. I neglected to get photos because we got out of there as soon as we could and cut our three night stay down to one night and found another hotel. Waste of hundreds of dollars. Don’t waste your money here.

Very walkable location. Low price.

Coffee Neighborhood

Maintenance was quick to fix the broken tap I complained about The noise outside the room made it difficult to dlip
-
Found 3 fat bed bugs crawling on our pillows while we are sleeping. As big as dog tick. Terrible area as well, the building is surrounded by violent homeless people breaking glasses and screaming in the middle of the night.
-
The lady at the front desk was pleasant In the worst area of San Fran. Drug addicts alcoholics and homeless people everywhere. Not safe at night location is scary need to be back before dark and the area feels very unsafe we left early departure as we felt so uncomfortable to a better hotel
-
Awful really not worth it spend the money on something better. Got attacked by bed bugs and the neighborhood was so awful!
-
There is no A/C so we had to open the windows on a unusually hot night. The night people on this part of time are very vocal past 2 AM
-
The location. It was close enough to the conference I was attending for me to easily walk there. Two twin beds doesn't make a bed a double bed. I thought that was pretty funny.

price no ammenities

Simply discasting ! Shared bathroom stink, too small room, broken door lock.
-
The room smelled like a dirty diaper and I left after one night. The bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. At checkout I was overcharged for early check out. If I was homeless I would rather sleep outside.
-
I found the cleanliness to be acceptable. The price just right. I wasn't informed that it was a Sleeping Room Only. It wasn't listed ads such.
-
The Hotel was unfortunately very dirty and the restrooms were just disgunsting. In generell the Hotel had a very low quality so that we left after just one night. I never experienced something like this. Poor and not safe neighborhood.
-
The staff was very friendly despite the poor neighborhood. The room was excellently clean, but the shared bath & shower area was less than perfect. You must specify that you want a TV suite... and I was unaware...
-
Clean, safe place to stay for cheap. Good free wifi. Shared bathrooms, shower room and bathtub didn't have shelves to place your clothes, mildew on walls in the bathtub washroom.
-
The staff were overall nice and appreciative. The continental breakfast was great. They need to work on the plumbing. Toilets that easily back up and hot water in the showers takes a long time. Should invest in sound reducing windows for the very busy areas that they are in.
-
Very good price-value ratio. Mentally ill homeless people around the location (6th street).
-
Upon checking in, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were wonderful and engaging, even when they misplaced our key. The continental breakfast offered a variety of choices.
-
There was a continental breakfast offered and the price was decent compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel was not in a good location.
