Motel 6 San Francisco, CA – Civic Center

The cleaning staff were friendly, the hotel abd rooms stayed clean! I used a sanitizer wipe to clean floors that seemed nasty, but were actually the cleanest I've ever been in!!! One staff member (older white guy) seemed very rude about only having coffee from 6am-10am. Generally, the desk persons didn't mind us getting coffee if there was some left over, and most of the time, it was!

Parking off-site for daily/nightly fee. The elevator worked half the time. The ice machine has not worked during our stay. There was no clothing rod nor shelf in the closet to hang anything on and the bathroom was dirty. Facility staff weren't very helpful and were noted to.be sleeping at the front desk during the night shift multiple nights.

Gets the job done for an affordable stay in SF.

Front desk staff wasn’t that attentive at check-in. The directv never worked. Room was nicer than expected and spacious though. Elevator was slower than using the stairs. Not too bad, but not worth the $200 for one night. Plus no dedicated parking and the closest lot was $65 for the night.

Comfy bed. Bad location. Rooms not cleaned. Tv didn’t work. Shower head was hanging off. Noise level was awful during every night. Lift felt really unsafe

The tv did not work the front desk man was rude and seemed bothered when asked questions about the inquiry. Also, I attempted to call several times and the phone just kept ringing. During the morning check out an older man was manning the front desk he was on his personal phone and the hotel phone kept ringing. He did not make an effort to acknowledge the call. I feel this establishment can be successful. However, the customer service is horrendous!

This is my second time staying here. First time was great and everything was working. Unfortunately, the TVs monitor was pitch black but still turned on, there was no refrigerator or microwave, and had cigarette holes on the blankets from previous hotel tenets. The Indian man in the front was a little rude. It’s not in the best part of town but it’s great for affordability. No security deposit if you book on hotels.com. The good thing about the room was it had a kingsized bed which was comfortable. The water pressure was great and the room was spacious. I would stay here again in the future.

The blankets had visible stains, the floor was sticky, and the shower head wasn’t working at all. When we first turned on the water, orange-colored water came out. Overall, the room did not feel clean. The walls are also extremely thin. You can hear conversations, footsteps, and noise from the surrounding rooms very clearly, making it difficult to get any sleep.

it was spacious and clean. one of the light fixtures by my bed didn’t work, the tv remote didn’t work and i had to go down there, TWICE for “new batteries” they didn’t work, so they said that i can get a discount at the end of my stay, when it came to the end of my stay, i was told because i booked the hotel on Booking, i’m not getting anything out of it, so i’m just gonna chalk it up as a loss.

It's not so much a problem with the hotel itself, but rather that the area in front of the hotel is too crime-ridden. It's hard to get around even during the day. During your stay at the hotel, you won't receive any shampoo or lotion, and you won't clean your room. Instead, the price is low.

Not much to be honest, eddy street is the worse street in San Francisco, don’t take my word for it google it, didn’t feel safe on the street outside Just the location
