The staff were great. The price was great. The hotel is nonsmoking which I liked. The sheets and towels were clean. The carpet definitely needs to be steam cleaned. The rooms have character. But the area close by is inundated with open drug users and homeless. Sirens were heard often.

Horrible place to stay. Rooms look nothing like the picture and it absolutely smells of human waste and cigarettes. Booked a new place right away and I couldn’t get a refund . Didn’t even spend an hour inside

This is a drug hotel. Their pictures on the Expedia site are deceptive. The property is filthy and not safe at all. We checked in, looked at the stains, mold and blood on the furniture, and quickly left. Expedia clearly need to do a better job vetting the properties on their site.

I get to the lobby and front desk. It looked nice and I could see where they may have spent money to let you believe it looked lavished. The moment I check in and get that squared away, we try to find the elevator. I’m lead to a door that says elevator. We open it and go into an elevator that really fits 3 people. It’s very old and I’ve never seen an elevator of this type. Some of the buttons were missing. We get out of the elevator and now it feels like I’ve warped onto an old ship with constant creeping floors and dark colored blue painted wall. Lights were very dull. This was not a hotel. It was very much a motel for sure. We get to our room and get teleported into the 60’s, but not in a good way. No Ac, toilet was very small and the sink was not deep so washing my face was a challenge and it has a very distinct smell and not in a good way. The bed was old as hell too. My opinion. They beed to put money into the beds, drapes and AC and that hideous bathroom.

There is no coffee in the lobby as indicated. Bathrooms could use a deep clean.

Pretty old but clean, smallest elevator I ever saw.Staff was nice and helpful. No screens on the windows which I didn’t like,I liked to open them so it wasn’t stuffy and I was afraid something would fly in!

Location was perfect. I'm happy for that .

The location was great. The pricing was excellent. The staff was super helpful. The place itself is a little outdated but the pricing corresponded. Overall, it was a nice clean and quiet and well worth the price.
-
Clean, very good location close to the city

The first set of keys they gave us already had someone on the room. We open the door and wow, somebody’s personal possessions in open site. I’m seeking a full refund

Got an aggressive knock in the middle of the night. Terrifying!
-
It was a nice place with a bathroom in the room, which is not as common in SF. Would stay again. Short walk to market and BART station.

El lugar es antiguo , así que tiene una atmósfera vintage , al inicio estábamos asustados por temor a como sería la estancia pero todo resultó bien y pudimos descansar solamente que las tuberías del lugar si hacen ruidos extraños
