Awfully noisy, like insane noisy, the heater or whatever that old pipe is, it's so loud that sounds like a construction is going on in the room. We could not sleep at all. You can hear the neighbors even talking. Worst hotel I stayed in my life. Avoid at all cost.

    Super!! We like this place

I was sooo disgusted by this hotel. It was horribly disgusting, gross, run down, smelly, dirty just gross all around. The beds were so uncomfortable, the tub was dirty and still hair from previous stay, there were no outlets in the bathroom and only 2 in the whole room instead there were extensions cords. The desk was falling apart, literally. The desk chair was stained with what seemed like blood and smelled like pist. I swear I felt I was going to catch something by just being there; unfortunately I had nowhere else to go or place available given that it was the holiday so I’m thankful I had somewhere to sleep. But yea this is NOT Embassy suites by Hilton do not be fooled like I was.

Space was comfortable clean close to alot of good stores and food

Good value for the price. Rooms are nothing special but it's a clean place to sleep with a private bathroom. Parking onsite for $30 was convenient. A bit of a sketchy area but if you're alert and exercise common sense you'll be fine.

There is no air conditioning, the rooms are outdated and smells musty. Rooms are portrayed bigger online than in reality. It was loud from outside noise including yelling, sirens. The area did not feel safe for families. The McDonald’s had a security guard at the door which is a few doors down from the hotel.

Hotel has seen better days - everything in the room is extremely old but beds are clean and comfortable. Getting our room made up was a real struggle despite numerous requests.

Ended up checking out the same day. Room musty bathroom not clean no refrigerator as advertised in room. Very bad area what they call the tender loin in SF a lot homelessness and drugs on streets near by. Did not feel safe. Booked package deal thru Expedia so Hotel refused any type of refund for the 4 nights booked. Still working with Expedia regarding refund but hotel refused. Would highly not recommend.

The cleanliness however wasn’t up to how I expected (hair in shower when we arrived, and stained pillow cases that didn’t fit the pillows). The area as well didn’t feel the safest if you ventured from the hotel and so we got taxis back most nights.

The carpet in the room was unbelievably gross, sticky and filthy. we had to wear shoes in the room and laid towels on the walking area for when we had to walk on it right after a shower. The bathroom door handle was hanging by a thread. The bathroom sink had a pillar in front of it so you had to use the sink diagonally. The shower/bathtub could keep water in it from the show curtain. We asked for house keeping and the guy at the front counter who as to busy watching videos on his phone said he would have the room cleaned. We came back late in the day and they still had not cleaned. I asked again since we would be leaving again for a few hours and they still not do it. 4 days 3 nights and cleaned only 1 time. The landline phone in the room to call front desk and housekeeping would just go to a fast busy signal. WiFi didn't work and when ask for anther pillow 3 different employees at different times said no. Only one elevator and you had to share with housekeeping and those employees would make sure they got it first. Completely rude. No refrigerator, coffee maker or blow dryer in the room. THIS HOTEL IS SURROUNDED BY HOMELESS AND DRUG ADDICTED PEOPLE. IT IS NOT SAFE TO WALK AREOUND OUTSIDE. This was a very run down hotel. I guess its my fault since I thought I was booking a Embassy Suites, not a Embassy Hotel. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! Also, $30 a day to park.

The room also dated and hard to find the outlets to charge my phone. I was there for one night in the end of June and I felt a bit cold in the room. Also I could hear someone screaming outside, of course it was not the hotel’s fault. I wish the city was much nicer environment. This hotel was very easy access to downtown attractions and only 30 mins bus ride to the beach too.

The location was the only thing—nothing exceptional in the hotel/room or staff that would make me come back. The front desk disappears occasionally, and there is no one to tend to you. The last day, I saw a roach in the elevator—thankfully, not my room. A housekeeper came and knocked on my last day at 11:45am telling me I should have been checked out already, and she got upset when I told her that I still had time—mind you, checkout is at 12pm. She rolled her eyes, got upset, and walked away.

The window was lose and broke away from the wall and injured my husband's chest. Maintenance came to screw the window into the wall. We could no longer open the window for fresh air. We called the desk for a clean shower curtain because it had dry blood and poop on it and the wall. Room service came 2 days later to replace it. The pillow cover had curly hair and black lint balls stuck on the pillow. It was gross. I was in room 303.

Good place to stay, I enjoyed my visit👍

Then we discovered that the door did not lock at all and anyone could have walked into our room overnight. They gave us a new room for the 2nd night and despite being assured the heat would definately work, low and behold, it didn't and they only had 1 extra bed cover to give usand no blankets. Other then that, the first rooms bath/shower ran the whole time despite it being turned off the most we could and the second rooms bathroom had hair on all the bathroom walls. Completely miserable stay!

It was cheap, nice lobby. Beware, I wouldn’t stay here with a family or young kids due to the homelessness. If you are confident and have been around hoods in your life nothing to worry about.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Cost, warm temps Carpet in the room needs to be replaced. Thin windows you can hear noises outside in the street.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Run down, terrible mattress, temu hotel

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Spacious room and nice to have a private bathroom. Place is close to the Civi train station and bus terminal and Van Ness street. Edge of Tenderloin district and the heater in the room seemed to be no way to turn that off at night when not required.
