Just now, to see if their assertion that reserving a queen bed is only a “request“, I chose a dozen different dates stretching into the future more than six months, and every time the booking.com website indicated that the property was “SOLD OUT”. They have blocked me! I worked in the Hotel business – at high-end resorts – and this is no way to treat guests.

Location is great, a lot of places nearby. The pot didn't have a cover for more privacy

The Location , proximity to many city locations, nearby food joints. Special mention of Nigeria - she was helpful.

Very nice arrangement and facilities available. Staff was very friendly

Great location, very clean and staff easy going h and friendly. Everything OK and if had to pick something a shower surface that would be less slippey when wet and soapy.
-
The cleanliness and quiet. Everyone was respectful of one another. I had a great place to rest while seeing the city and surrounding area. Just what I wanted. Lights are turned out early so I felt like I was creeping around if I stayed up later or got up early.

Good Lay-out for a hostel, enough privacy and quiet during the night. Only one shower for the whole hostel makes leaving on time quite a chore. Bathrooms were not really cleaned on a daily basis.

The staff is very friendly There is no privacy at all. We had to hang up some clothes next to the bed to have a bit more privacy. It can be very noisy at times.

We loved Rocky, he is the star of the show clearly. He's so nice, amazing, very attentive, got us extra blankets and helped us with tourist info. He is such a nice host! The positives that we loved were the bed sizes and mattresses, very comfy, the pods had lots of shelves and hooks to hang things and nice storage capacity. Too much of an open space for a hostel and we've stayed in hundreds. You need a curtain for privacy, not everyone is up for always up for socializing nor do you want people watching you sleep or be distracted by light or the tv's in your pods. Some privacy is needed in such an open space. Bathroom situation is dismal, you really need to have a separate toilet, sink, and shower. Having 1 operating toilet for 30 people is not ideal. The shower/toilet combo is awful. I understand one toilet was down for repairs but you really need to put tape on that toilet cause seeing people's "business" in an unflushed toilet is gross. I would definitely re-arrange some things in the hostel, a bit strange to have a kitchen up in the front, it should be in the back. There should be a small reception area for the host to do check ins and for guests to sit.

Mattress was comfortable. There were plenty of stuff "to share", in the pantry and fridge, as in the bathroom. There's also a spot with a hair dryer and toiletries. Nice patio at the backyard. The person who "welcomed" us wasn't the nicest. There's only ONE SHOWER AND ONE TOILET FOR ALL PEOPLE staying there, cleaning was ok but some elements as the handle for shower were broken or with some kind of damage. You get what you pay for, although I've stayed in hostels that include breakfast for the same price. The bunker beds are not in a closed room, is more like a warehouse with well-made solid wood divisions, but don't expect to have a key for the room, since there are no doors.

Dana was very kind host. The bed confy. The ambience cozy. Very chill neighbourhood with nice vibes. Hot showers. A bit too expensive! The bathroom needs some maintenance.

The location and price are definitely the best part. This hostel had only one bathroom working, the other one the toilet was broken. The bathroom had also a little bit of smell, so could be better cleaned and the first time I went inside I also felt a bad smell from the front.

The staff Dana is good and helpful. Answer my questions patiently. The price is also good. But…. Bath room and toilet can be a little cleaner. Also one of the toilets not working. There are still quite a lot of noises after 10 till 11:30. The curfew can be stricter would be better.
