...This is becoming one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed at. Recently I got locked in the bathroom and my wife called several lines to get help opening the door to the bathroom. One thing for sure I am lucky I don't have a heart problem. A person with a heart problem could have died especially when nobody answers your calls for HELP, HELP, and please help. Any good hotel would make sure that everything is perfect in every room before allowing someone to stay. The lock on the door really does not work. A repair man finally showed up and said that they actually have new locks for the door. It should have been changed. Inorder to continue to use the bathroom we taped the door lock so it can no longer locks. So next time when I take a bath, I won't get locked in and I won't have a heart attack. Thank God my wife was staying with me in the room. If I had been locked in the bathroom and I was staying in the room by myself I would have to keep screaming and banging on the doors until possibly someone would hear me and save me. Another person, a security guard and said oh we never have a problem like that. Of course. I guess really there isn't much I can do legally, I checked. But all I can do is report what happened and how I got locked in the bathroom to my thousands of my followers on the internet. You have to remember too that I'm 80 years old and not in the best of health. No one needs this to happen. So enjoy what happened to me at your next company meeting. You can all joke about it. Lovely hotel . Standard rooms but anything we asked for we got Slippers Kettle Extra towels Our safe didnt work and someone was there with 3 mins Breakfast was lovely Being on the 8th floor I didnt expect to hear alot of tje outside noise

The staff was very nice and helpful even during the busy hours. The rooms are very clean. The cleaning staff seemed like they were always working lol. We did not get the breakfast because there was an extra fee. The valet was good, about $75 per night. The only negative points I found was the extra fees that came at check out and the shower water pressure was too high. Overall, very good place to stay. Walking distance to a lot of places. The cable car comes right outside the hotel.

Meanwhile, my experience of it was that it was far below any such standards. I thought it was so lacking in basic comfort that I left a prepaid reservation of five nights after just one. Even with no promise of a partial refund. Specifically, the mattress was ridiculously soft and offered no support, the bathroom caulk appeared to be moldy, and the desk chair was a cheap plastic chair that was uncomfortable to sit at. Additionally, without warning me, I was put in a room subject to a piercing ring from the passing cable cars. The halls are narrow and dingy. The walls in the room were sloppily surfaced and painted in places and corners gouged. The place seems optimized for minimal investment without much concern for guest comfort. I suggest not going here at any price. Not even if paid to.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were upon check in were very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay

Loved the bed, clean, lovely view, good hotel bar with good food options, the breakfast was great and I love a hotel with a good coffee bar especially the fancy machine that makes lattes which the Stanford Court had :))

Not charging $25 for checking in early if you have room ready it should be courteous.
