Everything went smooth, no complaints at all

The room was good. Food was okay. It was quite. I enjoyed it and will stay there again. I did not take advantage of the amenities but it was close to the Winchester Mansion which was good.

Didn’t like how staff at check in desk didn’t ask where the room was and when we got to our room we called for additional towels and was told to come to front desk to get more which I didn’t appreciate having to go to front desk when it’s just towels also had a elevator experience where the door didn’t open and went to the level. Bathroom fan didn’t turn off when lights was turned off. I don’t plan to come back to this hotel. Too many small inconveniences that added up

I recently stayed here and I actually had had a pleasant stay. After reading the reviews , there were definitely some things I could confirm were accurate and some things were purely an opinion. 1. The breakfast during the week is different from the breakfast during the weekend. I stayed thursday until sunday so I was able to experience both breakfasts and I can tell you that it is very different. Breakfast during the week , you actually use glass plates and silverware and the options are a lot better. On the weekend , you use paper plates and plastic utensils, in which I thought was pretty interesting because I would think that it's more expensive on the weekend for hotels and what they charge versus during the week.So the comment that I read about breakfast is true and it definitely is a hit or miss. 2. The pool is NOT heated and I could not understand how kids were still swimming in the pool on a cold day. There were several kids in the hot tub , so it wasn't regulated , but I did like the small and tiny golf course and the basketball court. 3. Our hotel room was very clean and tidy and our room faced the beautiful water.I even enjoyed the train going by.It wasn't many times it was pretty enjoyable. I like the fact that the hotel is away from everything but I do like the option to drive down the street with many food options , fast food and Great America Amusement park is a 3 minute drive. The hotel had a very cute bar .A very nice inviting lobby and very friendly staff.
