Courtyard by Marriott San Luis Obispo

Hannah was great at the check in desk. Our room was ready on time, and even got upgraded to a bigger room with a patio. The room was clean with all the amenities we needed, such as a fridge and microwave.

Extremely convenient location and updated, clean, modern rooms.

Close to freeway No breakfast

Great

The room was well kept. The front guest staff was very helpful and prompt.

Good

Everyone was very friendly and helpful

Superb

Nice size room is the access to the pull. The only bad thing was the only get breakfast for 2 and we had five of us

Great service and amenities!

Good

I thought We would enjoy our stay, but something made us unhappy. At the front desk she gave me a direction to go room#343 was not reasonable. I am disabled person who walks with a cane. She told me to go around back to the back door entrance. I had to walk a quarter miles down the long corridor to get a room #343 was just next to the elevator, she did not mention the elevator was next to the front desk and the room is next to the elevator also, ADA parking is next to the building of the front desk. Is she really the one who was trained to work at the front desk ?? And, Wow, are you saying?, , the CoutYard cannot use the other credit card I submitted when I checked in ? If I lose a previous credit card which I made a reservation for? Or, someone else, made a reservation for us, and I'd like to make my payment with my own other credit card, but a front lady was saying "No, you cannot use another credit card. We had a sad and very bad feeling of leaving the hotel and It made us feel like we did not want to come back here again. I am sorry to tell you this, and, Thanks !

Location

One of the staff members was amazing. When I could not locate the hotel she stayed on the phone with me and talked me through the directions until I arrived at the hotel then greeted me by name when I walked in. They moved me to another room away from the elevator that was extremely noisy.

Dirtier than a motel. It looks fine at the first glance. But then there is blood on the toilet. I changed to a second room. There is suspicious yellow stain on the toilet. The hairdresser is very dirty. The label of the hairdresser is worn off. The hairdresser got sticky and parts of the label are stuck on the hairdresser and it’s cable. One of the towels has suspicious curly hair on it.

Everything was well taken care of. I would stay here again.

Exceptional

Very clean hotel, super helpful and friendly staff. The pillows were not comfortable

Paid parking as an extra fee is so annoying. Already paid a lot for a mediocre hotel.

To staff: please check the ac/fan. The noise is a little loud especially when it kicks in.
