Courtyard by Marriott San Luis Obispo

Hotel was very busy, as it was July. However, the staff were very friendly, personable, and professional. Though there were a lot of people in the lobby (people who had already checked in), I felt like the attention was all on me checking in. The room I booked was clean, comfortable, and the amenities were great. The pool area was spacious and I had a great time playing with my nieces. There were a lot of other kids around, which I didn't mind as my kids were young, too, so it was a very family friendly atmosphere as well. Considering it was so hot, the pool was a great amenity. I will definitely go back again if I'm ever in the area.

Super amazing we loved it

The room as spacious, very clean with modern, understated decor. The bathroom was extremely nice. We liked the sliding shower door, towel racks and cubbies in convenient locations and a great shower head. Very comfortable and efficient.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was pricey but good. Our room was large and comfortable. Will return again!

Only problem: The refrigerator in the room was frozen over as the door did not close…

There should be a restaurant on site. This hotel is not within walking distance of a restaurant and the food available onsite is not adequate.

We had a fantastic stay , beautiful hotel , pool and hot tub are great , very nice food in the lobby restaurant and the staff are friendly and accommodating all around. The room was spotless clean , comfortable , nice hot water and cold A/C , perfect place to stay. 100% will be back next time we're heading through the area !

Clean great staff

Housekeeping knocked 2x once in the morning before our checkout which was a little annoying, most stays I have you have to put the do not disturb sign on the length of your trip and not the day you are leaving as that is implied. The second time was at 11:55 right before checkout so not sure if they thought I left already

Great property with very attentive and helpful staff. Highly recommended and will definitely be back whenever in town!

My only gripe is it cost $15 per night to park I would definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay

Paying for coffee in the morning because they have farmed it out to Starbucks and paying $15 a night to park is not hospitality.

Terrible experience. I wish we had not prepaid because we would have left after the first night due to their hostile, unhelpful staff. My husband is disabled and we almost missed a very important appointment because of the rude front desk. The general manager used ChatGPT to send a response to my complaint, taking zero accountability for her operation. The whole experience was a nightmare, start to finish.

Friendly staff, clean and organized

Hotel was so clean. Staff greates me right away so nice. Check in was a breeze and got to my room fast. Loved how close it was to the pool area got to swim twice on my 1 night visit 😊

Nice hotel. Good lay out, big lobby area. Wish they had some sort of complimentary breakfast though. Pool area was really nice. Close to freeway
