TownePlace Suites San Luis Obispo

Nice suite hotel, centrally located to the highway and food. Nice size room with a nice free breakfast. Only complaint was it was a little noisy, with kids running around and a dog barking. Door could be better sealed against hall noise.

The location Initially we were glad to stay here since it’s a Marriott property. We checked in on a Friday. Woke up Saturday morning, saw a mouse running in our room, called immediately the front desk reported it, they did have a room to change us to. Once, we got to the new room we had to get ready for our day out. Once we got to our car, a white car had hit the front end of our car. We went inside and asked if they had cameras we were told no. The only thing we got for our whole inconvenience was a “I’m sorry.” Thoroughly disappointed. Will not be returning to this property. Marriott do better.

Therefore I would expect everything to be in good shape. Bathroom shower was excellent - large space, water turned warm quickly, large overhead fountain style shower, slippery floor but suction mat provided. Bathroom lighting only adequate - would have liked a magnifying mirror for make-up. Breakfast was adequate but very ordinary. Laundry was excellent - large machines, new. Very Clean. needed quarters to operate and front desk sold me $10 worth.

Breakfast and teas were good. The trash box under the sink was full. Towels were old and spent.

Clean room and nice amenities. Parking was plenty, but the bathroom did not have body shampoo refilled. Also, under the bed sheet, there was one long hair.

Was not expecting what was included in this room. There was a full refrigerator, microwave, sink, stove, dishwasher, dishes, pots & pans and eating utensils. For the price, I was expecting a basic room, not one with all the upgrades. Would definitely stay there again. The only thing I don't like is that they charge $15 per night to park. Keep in mind that if you have a handicap placard, you don't have to pay the parking fee.

Hotel was great, it was clean, coffee ready in the morning and breakfast was nice and hot. Room was really clean and spacious. We are definitely staying there again. Stores were super close by so that was a plus.

No complaints other than that I am a fitness enthusiast and plan my trips at locations that I know have some sort of fitness room and would appreciate more dumbbells and/or even a pull up rack of some sort. The small fitness rooms get really crowded when there is more than 3 people there.

Property was fine, though in the outskirts of lot there was trash that was clearly from people in vehicles that stayed the night in lot. The room was clean but only nightstand lamps worked. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

We stayed for 3 nights and I would say that the location is good. Very close to the downtown area and it’s right on highway 101. They did not clean our room during our stay. The hotel staff said, that the rooms get cleaned every other day but unfortunately they missed cleaning our room and it was late at night when returning to the hotel when we found out. We complained to the front desk about it and they were kind enough to supply us clean towels and trash bags
