The only improvement needed is a better breakfast. Need more protein. Eggs and sausage.

During our check-in on June 4, the Front Desk Assistant was not as welcoming and enthusiastic. His customer service skills was poor and needs improvement. He didn't mention the amenities of the hotel like the gym and pool. It was a robot-like interaction with the Front Desk Assistant.

Overall a great option in SLO. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast options were good and I really appreciated there was always coffee and tea available in the lobby. The only issue was that the walls seemed thin and we could hear those in the room next to us both nights we were there.

Convenient location, though outside of town on commercial strip, so not for strolling. Quick ride into town and easy access to highway. Beautiful new building with great breakfast buffet and dining area; excellent outdoor terrace with fire pits and comfortable seating options and tables. We used at night to enjoy the mild weather, next to nice heated pool, which we also used. I was surprised by a $15 parking fee, but the free breakfast made up for it. Everything was very clean, nicely styled and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. Only issue I had was my room wasn’t cleaned by the time I had checked in. I also was given the wrong room. Other than that we had a good stay.

Location at SLO was great, with easy access to Highway 101 and SLO downtown. I liked the room size and facilities including the coin operated laundry. For foreign tourists, SLO is a relatively safe town with a few homeless around, but plenty of nice shops and cafes/restaurants. Hotel was in a safe location near a whole bunch of car dealers, with Target, Trader Joes nearby. The breakfast area gets crowded in the mornings especially when there are large groups or families there and the poor single staff had to work extra hard to top up food and drinks. Hot water is often not available at the breakfast area. The room ac was erratic, comes off and on at night. There were children unsupervised in the gym not using the equipment in a safe or proper manner.

The location, the facility, the breakfast and staff Our room was located next to an exit door and so when people were coming in and out the door would slam each time, soft closed doors would be appreciated.

The location was fairly convenient to activities and destination in SLO. It's not far from downtown, and it's fairly close to shopping at Whole Foods and local coffee shops.

The room was dirty. Staff member working nights named Chris was extremely rude and disrespectful. I booked a “suite” and it’s dirty. Huge stains on couch that resemble some adult activity and big dirty spot on bathroom floor that resemble poop. Carpet floor is dusty as well as bathroom. I even saw skittle candy under couch. I went to front desk showed images and asked for assistance and attempt to change of room and Chris was extremely rude it’s hard to believe. The last thing he said when I called him out for his behavior is that he isn’t sure I made the stains. I laughed and walked away. For $250 a night not worth $2.50

The man at the front desk for the NOC shift was not helpful at all. We had booked our reservation a few hours prior and for some reason it was not in their system and he basically told us it was our issue and we’d need to call booking.com did not offer any help and would accommodate us until the reservation went through I showed proof and everything. Lucky we weren’t far from. I can not remember his name now but he’s a white man at works overnights.
