Dune Surfer Inn

The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice.

Staff are amazing. Second weekend in a row. Brought other family to join us. They had for 4th of July S'mores boxes. So sweet for the holiday weekend. Spent 3 nights and had 2 rooms. Will not be our last trip there. Looking forward to our next trip.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Close to beach and restaurant across the street. Staff very helpful and attentive. Very clean room. Great place to rest a bit before heading out to the shore only a block away. Really nice.

Nice little spot for a mini vacation with family.

The room was cozy with a good size kitchen. The beds were so comfortable to sleep on. The shower was the best! The room was very nice and we loved how close we were to the beach. We would definitely come back here to stay. The price was very reasonable for what we got.

Do friendly floors. Very clean very nice room just down the road from the pismo beach car entrance , AC kept tripping the breaker but the weather / temperature was marvelous so it was never needed

This was perfect. We were up for a grandchilds graduation and we just needed a place to retire to for the 2 nights and it was clean and close to a convenience store, restaurant and our sons house. Plus the beach is right around the corner, as is the great diner where we had breakfast. Microwave and refrigerator, smart tv, WiFi etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back.

There was a very bright light right outside our window that the curtain was unable to block (see picture). The room felt a bit like a cave (small and dark).

There were basic amenities missing such as hangers, tissues, clock, soap at the sink to wash my hands. The porch light shined in my eyes all night so I couldn't sleep even though I closed the curtain. It was like daytime

It did not bother our sleep.
