Best Western San Marcos

Nice customer service!

Our room looked clean, but the refrigerator did not keep cold and there are cracks in the drywall around the shower indicating previous water damage. There was a crack in the shower surround surface that had been filled and the drain had rust spots. The toilet paper holder was not securely fastened to the wall and kept popping out of the drywall. When arriving, the room had been cleaned, but there was hair on the bathroom floor. I would not stay here again, however, it was what to be expected for such a low nightly rate. I felt safe and the bedding was clean.

Everything was great, apart from the fact that there was no hot water. Had to take multiple quick, cold water showers.

Absolutely wonderful and Johnny at the front desk was amazing we will definitely stay again. The property was very clean a d everyone was super friendly. Breakfast was really good each morning.

Stayed 3 nights and everything was great. Check in and out was easy. Staff was very nice! Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was yummy. Will definitely stay there again!

Staff was extremely helpful

Front desk people were nice, but the bathroom didn’t get cleaned from customers prior to us, dirty rag was left, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap was left in shower. The rest of the room looked like it had been cleaned (hopefully) not just put together meaning clean sheets and not just bed being made. Didn’t think I had to look at the shower before the next morning upon getting in.

Cleanliness and price!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. Pool was clean and accessible. A lot of road noise, though there isnt much that can be done about that since they're right off the highway. There was also a TON of hallway noise throughout the evening...I dont know what could be done about that, but maybe different doors or some seals around the doors, or something.

I have a service animal and they denied me my already paid room.

Perfect location. Close to the river, Walmart and great restaurants. Very helpful staff as well

This hotel was the perfect location for me. The continental breakfast had a lot to choose from. I did have one problem with my bathroom. However, when I notified the front desk it was fixed within 5 minutes. I would stay here again.

Staff is really friendly and helpful I wish the rooms had more light.

En general estuvo bien

Restroom was not clean, there were stains and hair in the tub. The family next to us were extremely loud and slamming doors. The front desk was notified but the noise continued until 2 am.

Staff was great, breakfast was good. The quality of the repairs made over the years is lacking. Poor trim work and lots of caulking over anything.

I like the quality overall, just a few point I think the can get better in certain things I saw. When I got to the room, the room smelled like it was humid and smudgie, the bathroom tub has red meldew on the edges and on the tub white mat and on the entrance hallway a big dead roach in the carpet.

Great location There was a somewhat strange odor in our room, but not too unbearable.

The room was clean,& comfortable, the staff was very nice!!! The breakfast was very good a lil more than I thought it would be. More than enough parking. I had a pleasant stay..
