Motel 6 San Marcos, TX

The place was very run down, however, the AC work amazing. I wouldn't necessarily stay here again, but it did the job for 1 night.

It was the most uncomfortable outdated room ever it’s not on my $70 ring they charged me 95 bucks

Trash cans outside filthy dirty No towels on or second night stay Tv did not work super thin cover the hotel was down right trash I would never recommend anyone stay here the worst money ever spent

The worst place i have ever stayed at. If you are in San Marcos, do not stay here.

Checked out as soon as I checked I ! Felt so unsafe!! Nothing is at it appears on line. Rooms are filthy. Restroom is worse with bathtub having cracks in it. The drain was filled with debree and rusted. Shower curtain was dirty and stained. Towels were stained as well and not clean. Beds on platforms were not fitted- platform bottom was exposed and you could see how dirty it really was underneath. Manager was very defensive when I explained why I checked out and requested refund to no avail. Wish I could have reported differently- but worse stay ever! Pay a few more bucks to stay somewhere better and safer.

When we arrived one good thing was the room was nice and cold. The downfalls were the cleanliness of the room the sheets were stained and there was hair on the bed, The remote did not work, but front desk did come and get us another one. Our only complaint would be the limit of towels. They only wanted to give us two towels at a time and we were a family of 4, staying three nights. It was like they didn’t want to give us any, not even for the pool. Which by the way had a few cockroaches in it. I mean for a motel.. you get what you pay for it wasn’t the worst motel we’ve been in but it would probably be the last time we stay at a motel 6

They had people overwelcoming their stay and smokers everywhere.Our room smelled like smoke terribly (wife is asthmatic) , and the bed was dirty.With bugs on the floor and stains on the top comforter. We had to go to a different property, and they did not want to give us a refund

Both washers broke. Filthy place.

Has a weird smell and not clean enough

for a motel 6 it was ok. exterior was littered with cigarette butts outside rooms. walkways and steps were grungy. the room was ok ... clean/dated but the floors were greasy feeling. price was great. not for the finicky.

Not good. Just halted for a restroom break and freshen up.

The place was so gross , the manager was hanging out had all her family , there i complained and ask to give me a refund and she ran me off. I called the cops to get a report that I didn't stay at the property

Air conditioning is very bad! The air conditioner is dirty, the air is very bad.

This is a “you get what you pay for” type place. The location was perfect for what I needed. The bed was not the best but the A/C was blasting!!

the only good thing was the pool was open

Upon check-in the front desk person claimed that I needed to pay an early check-in fee of $20 in cash after I already paid a $22 early check-in fee to hotels.com. when we entered the room we found a dirty towel hanging in the room. There wasn't even a trash can in the room. The pool was clean and refreshing. The machines in the laundry room worked well. We were woke up early in the morning to loud noise from the construction/renovations going on at the hotel.

Why is this Motel 6 even open, the internet pictures need to be specific on which Motel 6 they are talking about. This Motel 6 need to be closed, not understanding how and why its still open. Never again!!!!!

It’s more of families living there, so people hanging out everywhere, kinda of scary.
