Motel 6 San Marcos, TX

Was very clean and the staff very helpful

The place needs a little fixing here and there and it smell like people smok inside

I will not be booking this motel in the future. It wasn’t clean the walls were so dirty like nobody’s cleaned them in forever!! We had four people in each room we booked and they only left us two towels to use. We asked for extra because we all wanted to swim and they only gave us two for both rooms and said we couldn’t get anymore to shower with until the next morning because the manager wasn’t there to get the key to open the cabinets for the towels. The next morning we went to get the towels and they said that we couldn’t get any because they didn’t have enough to give out. They outside wasn’t clean as well.

We arrived to a hot, dirty, smelly room and nasty place all together. When we arrived the place looked nothing like the photos. The room was dirty on the floor, curtains looked like they had bodily fluids on them as well as the sheets. There was blood stains on the pillow cases and when we asked for clean sheets they brought the sheets to the room and asked us to change them ourselves they didn't have staff to do it. When we removed the pillow cases the pillows were covered in black mold. We took the pillows to the front desk only to be told they can only give us new pillow cases they don't have extra pillows and had no additional rooms to move us to. There was no towels or toilet paper in the room. After all this we asked for a refund immediately and were told there was nothing they could do since we already paid and checked in. We had only been there 15 minutes. We left and found another hotel. I would never recommend anyone staying at this nasty run down motel.

The place was adequate but bed sheets seemed to have stains on them and the floor had this weird waxy feel to it. Only one light in the bathroom worked (the one in the shower).

Asked for two more towels and was told they didn’t have any !!! You get what you pay for

Worst booking ever ….bad service.. poor cleaning…rooms and place not described as advertised…offered a early check in for the price of $23 extra but not service…complaint will be followed

This was a terrible hotel experience; from dog poop in the grass, no towels available, and the staff was not very helpful

Got a refund and left. This is not a place you spend the weekend. This is where people spend a few hours or live at

It was okay for the stay. Pool really did not look clean enough to swim. For the price I guess it was fine.

Room did not look anything like the picture, it looked unclean and there were roaches. Would not recommend.

Besides is not an expensive is very clean.

Nothing The staff was so rude I had 3 rooms all rooms only has sheets on the beds no blankets I asked for blankets and they had none and when they got some they were so thin no quilt no shampoo and conditioner barely any towels and when I asked for extra towels I was refused towels then my daughter took them the dirty towels to get more she was how do they know the towels were from there. So crazy I don’t know how any place can have a crappy staff like this. I have never been treated like this at any motel before and only 1 wash cloth. Bed bugs and nasty but I paid my days in advance and refused a refund.

A/C unit was incredibly dirty, I left coughing and sick, likely due to dust. I slept on my own pillow and blanket and on my way out it seemed like I was being accused of stealing their sheets though I never used them.
