Quality Inn University near Downtown

The outside of property is old and needs a face lift. The bathroom/tub etc looked new. A good value but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Good place for the price we paid. Breakfast was lacking for sure but the pool and room were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location of hotel is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. A/C unit kept room cold. Good affordable place to stay.

Staff was nice. Some of the fixtures in the room were coming apart, off the wall or just needs to be refinished. Nothing that really matters just my two cents.

Property was very old and not well maintained, the breakfast was very minimal, coffee wasnt good, the first the restroom light blew out, the TV remote batteries were dead, tiny TV that sounded horrible, and super hard beds. The only thing good was the friendly staff

very good location, right next to I-35, parking is available for all guests. There are several good restaurants within 10 minutes drive, and also very beautiful parks around The overall experience is positive, considering about the daily rate of the room. Nothing to mention I don't like, everything is ok, acceptable.

This place was perfect for a weekend stay! Staff were friendly, had plenty of breakfast basics.

I really enjoyed the room it was clean staff was friendly it was so quiet. Breakfast was good and it is easy to get where you are going and back with lots of food options and shopping around. If you are looking for a fancy place this isn’t for you. If you are looking for a comfortable fairly priced, no bugs, and helpful staff, and don’t mind a knick in the paint this is for you!

Nothing Everything

San marcos is a good place to visit and Quality Inn is a good hotel to stay for a reasonable price.

Contently next to really good fast food! The door to the room was REALLY hard to open and close.

Good Ask for early check in since reservation and room Wasn't ready until later almost at check in time.

Location to my event and the guy that checked me in was nice and welcoming. The a/c didn't work well and took almost till check out time to cool the room off. Also the bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

Staff was great, friendly, and welcoming. Room was ok, the top lock was loose needed to be tightened like maybe someone had tried to force their way in before. Mattress on one of the beds had staining on the side that was visible when the fitted sheet moved from my son moving around on the bed. The stain looked like it could have been blood but I don’t know. I put a towel over the side of the bed to make sure no one touched it. We were in town for a graduation and all hotels were booked otherwise I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. Only because the lock and the stain made me uncomfortable. Breakfast was very limited and hardly any seating, we took ours back to the room

The room was nice and the staff is very friendly too!
