Quality Inn University near Downtown

This is an older property with need of some maintenance. Shower fixtures were loose and hard to adjust. AC was very noisy. Night clerk was not very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and did OK for our quick stay.

Great place to stay! Willie was very friendly at check in and Mr Patel was nice, as well. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Easy choice when visiting San Marcos especially considering the price!

the first room assigned, by the office, pool and stairs smelled of mildew. We got a different room on the other side of the hotel. It was a bit musty but the a/c freshened it up. The door frame was beat up, missing paint in many places, but the room looked well kept. Compared to our La Quinta in Marble Falls, visited for the three days prior, thought this room was overpriced.

The rooms were beautiful and clean everything was fresh no problems no bugs no noise because that was the weird thing is that there was hardly anybody there I mean like maybe a half a dozen actual paid individuals you know rooms that were rented including myself. I did not see any more than four vehicles in the parking lot on either side of the building combined. And because of this things were not taken care of for breakfast I don't blame them but it has been rather light in business and I think that should change these people are great prices are great and you're surroundings are fantastic you should take advantage of it

Wasn’t the cleanest ever, but incredibly great staff, and overall great for the price!

There were stains on the bed sheet; overall, it wasn't as clean as you'd expect

Breakfast was powdered eggs and greasy sausage patty, never any fresh fruit.

Spacious room

Breakfast was edible and the dining area was clean and comfy. The property shows its age in places, but not enough to alarm or scare you off. This isn't a 5-star hotel but its a great budget option.

The hotel is an adequate older hotel located on the highway. I thought the facilities were OK, but could use a little maintenance. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good. I was there helpng my granddaughter move to San Marcos and it met my needs nicely. COuld use some maintenace in the bathroom.

Amazing, clean rooms, great staff and good location.

wall plug because there were zero USB, let alone usb-c, plugs. TV was smaller than I'm used to but was there for business, not spending hours watching TV. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. A/C wasn't on initially (I'm sure it saves them electricity) but I was able to turn it on and leave after check in. When I got back several hours later the temp was fine. Nothing fancy, but a good place to spend the night.

Overall a good clean hotel. Convenient location

I didn’t like anything about the room. The room is super old and in bad condition. The bed & mattresses are full of stains. The walls are badly painted. The floor wall molding was coming off. The toilet paper holder was all rusty. The iron didn’t steam well and would leak water. The images on the website are misleading.
