Motel 6 San Marcos, TX - North

Hair in tub, bed solid as a rock, super friendly staff. Pool empty with broken glass on the ground and the gate was unlocked, good thing I didn't dive in head first.

This motel was the worst place I have ever stayed at. The room was a nonsmokers and it smelled like smoke. The pillows has a awful smell to them and they were all stained, I did not undo the bed because I was already disgusted. The towels,omg... the were dingy, and stained. And to top off the night. Me and my daughter were having our dinner when the roaches started to run on the wall. That was the cherry on the cake.

The AC didn't work we were sweating all night refrigerator was not cool our food was going bad there was hair all over the bed sheets and the restrooms were not clean at all.

Ended up leaving and not staying.

Staff was helpful and very clean place

I want to start off with the towels they were just dirty ,bathroom there is literally not even hand soap , shampoo , conditioner absolutely nothing and a roach behind the toilet and on the toilet paper. This place is disgusting. Even when you walk in the room the air in the room is stale. This was only one night and it was a terrible stay.

It was horrible no coffee machine in room no fridge no microwave slippery floor condensation in the room was horrible everything wet clothes floors smelled like mildew not even room spray helped and they never made tge beds or put clean towels I'LL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN !!!

Nothing good at all. I'm a disabled veteran and people that didn't have handicapped plates were in those spots, the a/c wasn't working properly, no towels in room, I went to lobby to get a fan for our room just to be comfortable. The pool wasn't available..The towels we were given were still dirty and had stains.

The room was dirty and poorly maintained.

The location The dirty property, the room didnt have a microwave, fridge, trash can and room smell like urine(pee). The room was not like what the pictures showed on your web site. Plus there were roaches in the room

The staff guy was very friendly but the room was horrible. The minute you opened the door to go into room it was full of little roaches. There were little roaches on the fridge, on the floor and the wall near the sink. Not a very pleasant experience.

The only two positives about this place was the cold a/c and the woman working the front desk when I arrived. Otherwise, this property is terrible. I just stayed at a Motel 6 off 1604 near Bandera Rd. in San Antonio, Tx and it was wonderful. I booked this one thinking they were of the same caliber. I was wrong. There was trash all over the parking lot and the hotel was at capacity with people on extended stays. Essentially meaning that they live there. There was no where to park near the rooms, cars being worked on in the parking lot, kids playing in the parking area at 2am and I feared that my vehicle would be damaged or stolen. The room was spacious but dirty. The woman working was very nice and helpful. She knew I was uncomfortable and dreading my situation and did everything she could to help. I appreciated her care and concern. She was truly a good person. After the first night, I woke to the voice of a man with a heavy Indian accent in the hallway. He was yelling at someone, very rudely, and I gathered he was the hotel owner or manager. He woke me out of a dead sleep with his loud and unprofessional behavior. There are better ways to handle your dissatisfaction with your employees. He had no concern for the guests in his hotel when he was yelling at an employee in the hallway which was a complete hypocrisy to what he was yelling about. Jack Ass. I will never stay at this particular Motel 6 again. Too much chaos and I felt unsafe as a lone female traveler.

It worked out well.
