Very good value for money and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Classic motel feel. Room could be cleaner and smell nicer. But would still pick this over the other ones in the area just off price alone.

It was quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Clean pool and it was in a great location! A little outdated but that didn’t matter, will definitely stay there again!

My biggest issue with our stay was the noise. We were using the refrigerator, but it would make noise throughout the night. We would unplug it, but we needed to keep it on to keep food from going bad. The worst was the noise from people staying in the room right next to us. The walls and the connecting door do not dampen the sound and provide no privacy. The other room would have their TV on very loud, and they would talk loudly and make noises during what we assume was sexual activity. The provided breakfast was not stocked well to satisfy our hunger through a restless night of not being able to sleep well.

Very moldy strong odor through the building and rooms.

Family run. Clean. Friendly. Great location. Great value.

As for the room (2 queen) the pillows are hard and barely 3" in width. The bathroom is rundown with ghost markings on tile where the soap holder & handle used to be and NO HAND SOAP or hand towels or tissue or any kind of toiletries provided. The towels are barely absorbent with their age and the general message is “we’re stingy and don’t really care that you’re our guest.” The TV is old and most channels don't work & that's if you can get the remote in just the right place to change channel or adjust volume. There aren't enough plugs generally but especially by the bedside; built-in USB/USBC ports are the norm nowadays. As a former employee at San Marcos Hampton Inn for 8 years--ppl get desperate because this area gets. Politely sold out from Austin to San Antonio so by doing just enough, you can likely have a steady number of guests. I feel tricked. Even the fridge is pretty busted and there’s tape on the hutch that houses fridge and microwave.

Room was decent.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Had a fridge and a microwave. The pool was always clean. The continental breakfast could have had a couple more items on it. Cream cheese for the bagel and maybe some tea choices.

Nice place , a little older location.

Room was quiet. Opposite side from I 35. Breakfast was ok.
