Comfort Suites Near Texas State University

Everything was great! Little outdated but for the cost it was a wonderful option. Staff was amazing

This property was horrible! Not clean, old and outdated and not well maintained! We had a leak in our room and the bathroom was peeling and old! No one came to fix the leak and they claimed they redid the bathroom! The manager has yet to return our call even though they said he would be in the building! Horrible experience/lodging! The lady at the front desk in night duty was apologetic for the leak!

Superb

Always a great experience here.

It was easy to get to and a good price. The staff was nice. None of the ice machines worked, shower curtains where too short and every time you showered you ended up with water every where. I believe it was in the middle of a refresh.

Convenient and the hotel is nice. We've stayed there about 5 or 6 times but this last time it was the worst experience. The tub needed maintence, the spout was about to fall out and the toilet wouldn't flush right. All the other times have been good though. Thanks

Superb

Passable

Poor

We stayed just for a night and had no issues! Check-in was easy and we enjoyed the free breakfast

The rooms Good location

Everything was okay except for the breakfast. the cut sausages were undercooked and didn't taste good. The juice machine wasn't working at all. This location is a franchise. I feel like the breakfast could of been better. There wasn't a variety at all. The room was cool, water didn't get hot though. My stay gave franchise. It wasn't giving what it should have. I do like how close it is to everything - but the breakfast wasn't worth it all.

.

Kind staff during breakfast

Loved our room and breakfast

The first thing I saw when I pulled in was a scissor lift parked in the round-about drop off area and the pool was drained with a pump still in it. The hotel itself smelled musty as though recent water damage had occurred. Check in was smooth. Went to the room and the toilet seat was broken so that if you sat on it it would pinch your leg and the shower rod was ripped out of the wall on one side. Told front desk and both items were repaired within about 1 1/2 hours. Maintenance men did not clean up after themselves. The room has a balcony that is locked out due to unsafe conditions. The A/C worked fine. The ceiling fan rattled so we had to turn it off. Hot water was not hot, just warm. Elevator was dirty and first floor call button was broken. All hallways were dimly lit and ongoing repairs were noticeable. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast you would find at any standard chain hotel. Rehydrated eggs, frozen sausage patties, waffle station, muffins, juice, etc. Juice machine was broken. Coffee tasted burned. Overall I would give the entire stay a 2.5 out of 5. I think the hotel as it was last night 8/29/26 - was not worth what I paid.

mold not clean enough ..bathroom vent old n broken making loud noises when light is turn on water not hot enough breakfast terrible fan was going on all night no where to shut it off terrible hotel call front desk no one to help out …. poor service

The elevator was outdated. The restroom shower faucet was holding on by a thread of cocking making it hard to shower with out fearing that it was going to fall off the wall. The curtains to the room wouldn’t close and the ac unit fan was rattling all night long

Location I didn’t like a lot fake pictures of motel! Pool was dirty with green algae all in it not in use water wouldn’t get hot not what i paid for
