Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky OH

Suite Room is big, comfortable and clean. Love the balcony to be able to sit and Relax after a fun day. Lots of other things to do like bowling, arcade , build a bear store, candy store, Dunkin’s & gift shop! They have luggage carts as courtesy to take your belongings from car to room and back which makes everything so much easier. Water park was amazing. Food was really good at Gitchigoomie Rest. & it was not expensive at all. My daughter loved it so much.

What bothered me almost as much was the lack of response from management. We had a really hard time getting through to the front desk while it was happening, nobody came to check on us or our kids that night, and after I emailed Great Wolf Lodge about everything, I waited over two weeks without a response. I was eventually told that my file was closed. I also looked into the resort afterward and found that there have been other security incidents there, which was really concerning to see. We drove five hours for what was supposed to be a special one-night trip with our kids before school started. Instead, our kids were scared and asking us why people were fighting and whether it would happen again. It was a really upsetting experience, and I would not stay here again.

Great Wolf lodge never disappoints! This particular property is walking distance to many stores and restaurants which was a lovely bonus.

Felt the pool towel tracking was a bit unnecessary. Didn’t like the online ordering process for Dunkin’ Donuts.

Las habitaciones estaban muy cómodas, limpias y bonitos cuentan con balcón. El paquin hay que pagarlo en la entrada del check-in, yo desconocía de eso. Hay muchas actividades para los niños. Y el parque acuático estaba limpio y es bastante grande tiene varias piscinas para los niños. Todo excelente.

I’ll start this with, our son did have a good time. Despite our room having obvious mold on the ceiling, the floor had what felt like it had a hole in it, the pillows felt like they were stuffed with cheap cotton balls. None of the staff were very helpful, and when you finally found one most seemed as if they hated their jobs. We were told we couldn’t use the restaurant despite no one being in it bc they had too many ppl and we had to wait 30 minutes for subpar over priced food. You pay a lot to stay there, but have to pay equally as much to enjoy the main attractions you are there for. Yes they have several free activities there, but they are definitely aimed to the smaller children that are there. Our son is 11 and felt he was too old to partake in most of those activities. Overall we had an okay experience which is why I gave an “okay” rating. We did leave a day early as you can complete everything in one day and felt staying longer was a bit pointless.

My family and I try to go Great Wolf Lodge every year. I have an 8 year old daughter and we love it.

Property is very well maintained, rooms are very clean and staff is outstanding.

Would highly recommend going here. We plan on staying here again in the near future.

Went for the waterpark but stayed for the magi quest!! Highly recommend very family friendly! Only complaint was the community microwave

Much cleaner than I anticipated. Staff was super helpful. Kids activities were super fun for younger child. Food selection is not great and overpriced but the hotel is in a great location that is close to tons of other options. In/out parking is great.
