Trash hotel crack heads out front beds look like they never been changed. I checked in an checked out same day. Nasty place.

I like everything

In a five day stay our room was cleaned twice. We had requested towels - none available. We had requested our room cleaned daily- no staff available. Even though we rated this stay as okay - will not be back.

The photos online are incredibly misleading. Upon arrival, the hotel lobby was hot and uncomfortable, as if the air conditioning wasn’t working. The front desk staff was polite and friendly, which was unfortunately the only positive part of our stay. The outdoor pool was filthy, with cigarette butts floating in the water despite multiple “No Smoking” signs. We ended up using the indoor pool instead, which was only slightly better. The public restrooms throughout the property were also dirty and poorly maintained. When we got to our room, the pillows were dingy and didn’t even have pillowcases on them. We had to ask housekeeping, who were cleaning other rooms, to provide pillowcases. At that point, I was so uncomfortable with the cleanliness that I drove to the Walmart down the street to buy Lysol wipes, disinfectant spray, and bed sheets so I could sanitize the room myself before sleeping. The worst part came when we were checking out. As I stripped the bed in hopes the next guests would receive fresh linens, I noticed the sides of the mattress were heavily stained and soiled. Had I seen that when we first checked in, I would have left immediately, regardless of the holiday weekend. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This hotel desperately needs better housekeeping standards and overall maintenance.

The outdoor pool was well maintained. Overall conditions a bit weathered but otherwise a good stay.

Good hotel

Room was musty. Floors were sticky. Not bad for a couple but a family or a good idea
-
Room and Beds were old and not very inviting.

Location was perfect when visiting Sandusky area. Room and beds were old and not very good condition.

Everything was good with the room it was just people letting their kids running up and down the hallway at 9:30 at night yelling at the top of their lungs

Hot tub and pool were so over chlorinated that it discolored my expensive swimsuit (that had been worn in multiple other pools). Indoor pool was not heated, cold. Breakfast was okay, waffle iron and sausage patties were the best. Housekeeping staff was by far the nicest we've ever experienced. When we had issues with our key being desensitized (even when keeping it away from other cards and electronics like we were told to), there was no help at the front desk for sometimes 30-45 minutes.

The comforter has stains on there. rug seem like they put new rugs over the old rug. Wi-Fi no good . Hot and cold water was not working property. But the free breakfast was good .

They had limited vegetarian options for breakfast. As an example they had one type of yogurt. They had 3 types of meat in hot breakfast but no hash browns / potatoes. Waffle had only one flavor. No full fat milk.

There were stains upon stains on the blankets, pillows, mattress protector, etc. most of them being yellow, some being red, brown and other fun colors. We informed staff and she moved us to another room. The other room had significantly less stains, but still there. The rooms reeked of some sort of air freshener that was extremely overwhelming. Our card for our door wouldn’t work so check in took over 45 minutes of playing cat and mouse. Breakfast was provided, but it’s the type of food you’re scared to eat because you might get food poisoning. As for parking, it was pretty impossible for a pick up truck to fit anywhere, but it was also pretty busy. Parking lot and entryway were clean… but don’t let that fool you and think the rooms are the same. It’s definitely a cheap stay and you should keep your expectations low.

It served the purpose. The persons at the front were meh at best. Not completely helpful nor knowledgeable. We joined friends for a baseball tournament and cedar point outing. So we didn’t do anything but cleanse and rest. However I will say I’ve stayed at better Comfort Inns.

Seems like they are letting this place go. It’s not horrible right now, but it’s not as clean as it could be and if you look around, you will see things here and there that need fixed and cleaned.

Breakfast was not that great. Waffle machine took very long to cook the waffle, cups needed to be filled to the top in order to have a full waffle. Sausage only need more of a variety.

Minutes away from the mall, and kalahari resort
