Comfort Inn Sandusky

The property was nice, but the bathroom was so tight you could barely turn around it only had two very small bars of soap, and the hot tub was out of order. The swimming pool needed cleaning, and the breakfast was very good

There was a disgusting smell throughout the ENTIRE place

We checked in and were given a room that smelled of mildew. Thankfully we got another room but it wasn’t much better. Although the hotel says it’s smoke free most areas small like musty cigarettes. The food at the breakfast buffet was the worst I’ve seen. Not much variety and very barebones. The rooms are dated, dark and not well-maintained.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. Paint chipping, ceiling ceiling had a ton of cracks in it, but bed was clean and no bed bugs. The shower did not drain but the water was hot. Breakfast was amazing, had sausage, eggs and yogurt, waffles. I will stay again more than likely for the price!

The hotel is good for a basic stay. It has the usual microwave and refrigerator. The television channel selection was sub par. They have two pools which was convenient. The rooms were clean. Service for more towels was slow. Overall an ok experience but without a gym I’d probably stay somewhere else next time.

Right from the start the staff member exemplified what hospitality is about. Friendly welcome and valued us as customers. Considering we have so many options this is what I would expect but often do not see. The room was comfortable. We only stayed a single night and did not take advantage of other amenities, but the breakfast was excellent with many fresh choices and a roomy dining area. We would stay here again.

The water in the shower was lukewarm and the carpet in the room was semi-wet. There was a strange small in the room. Overall, ok accommodations considering the distance to Cedar Point.

Carpets inside room are dirty, bathroom hair dryer doesn’t work, beds are uncomfortable and with controllable ac unit it was still hot. The outdoor pool was good though.

It was okay! Got the job done but not nearly worth the price per night

There was blood all over the wall

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Love that it had an Indoor and outdoor pool. Just wish that the outdoor poolside bar was open especially in the summer. The breakfast was basic but it worked. I also wish they had queen beds and not double beds I struggled sleeping with the double bed. Overall great place would consider staying again if we come without kids and can get a room with a bigger bed.

The room smelled when looking around the room everything look old and not taken of the bed had a big ripped in the side of the masters like you could stuck your hand in the whole, the sheet had stans like old blood or something wholes in the walls and paint chipping from the top to the bottom of walls didnt feel clean at all! Rust was all over the toilet paper holder and other places in the bathroom. Just not happy with the stay happy it was only one night. How bad the room looked and smelled and upkeep on the hotel didnt even stay for breakfast. Will not be staying here again in the future.

Staff was stealing peoples personal belongings cops were there every night I stayed

The hot tub was hot, & the pools were a little cold. It was only in the mid 70's for my stay after a week of being in the 90's so they didn't have the pool heater on but was still enjoyable. The breakfast was good too.
