Hampton Inn Sandusky-Central

Location was okay. That’s all. The most unclean Hampton we ever experienced. Rooms has mold smell. Staff moved us to another room which most likely a dog stays with previous customer. Dog smells and dog far was all over on carpet and entrance.

Room was quiet and plenty of parking. Very dirty rugs in hallways especially in front of our room. There wasn't one working ice machine in the entire hotel. Breakfast was average. Fan in bathroom is broken it was way too loud with a grinding noise. Refrigerator was also making a high pitched noise. We used this hotel before when they were down to 1 ice machine and said the others were getting repaired. That never happened. Hampton used to be top of the line it is now very low quality. PS pool which we were thinking of going into was cloudy we weren't taking a chance on that. We won't be staying here anymore.

I liked that I was safe in the facility. I liked how I got a good night sleep after a long day at Cedar Point. I also liked the staff. They were very helpful in answering my questions. I wish they would dust more and clean up corners in the bathroom. Other than that, everything else was great.

Dirty. Uncomfortable beds. No ice machine.

Price very reasonable, clean!

Breakfast was good. There was no hot tub, no ice maker and the mattress I slept on, I had to sleep in the middle of the bad because the side was broken down and it hurt my hip.

The only thing that was a bummer is all the ice machine wore out of order and I couldn’t stock up ice for my cooler and have cold drinks that I had brought along with me for my stay.

The staff was friendly The property definitely needs a remodel. Worst Hampton I have stayed at. Every ice machine was out of order.

Excellent value for the price. Clean and well-maintained despite being an older property. Friendly staff. Quick and hassle-free check-in/-out. Ok breakfast (long hours 6–10 AM). The area felt safe and quiet, and the hotel itself was peaceful The property is dated and shows wear, and the TV in the room did not work

Close to cedar point A lot. I already sent an email and haven't heard back. You were quick to ask for a review but not to address a negative one, I see.

Breakfast was great. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the pool temperature was a bit too cold, otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Requested first floor due to mobility problems. Had more than adequate time to arrange Couldn’t get one

Carpet and elevator smelled bad.

Food was fine in house breakfast saves time and money. Need to have a way to alert receptionist of guest waiting to checkout/in.

Pool was ice cold was told heater broke that day and remote didn’t work in room

We stood here for one night an it was amazing!!! Clean room friendly staff although it was cold in the pool because they were working on the heater it was a great stay!

The breakfast fruit didn’t have bananas. The coffee only had the horrible coffee mate petroleum product for cream. Otherwise it was ok

Great. Eggs were very good, sausage was ok potatoes and waffles very tasty. Room above us was very noisy.
