Days Inn by Wyndham Sandusky / Cedar Point

Location Unfortunately when we walked in there was no in the lobby and a big ring doorbell was there. A man came from the back on a cell phone didn’t greet us or apologize. I told him my info he was kinda just, blah. The room was decent but it wasn’t clean. We had four tiny pillows to share, we were exhausted so I fell asleep woke up coughing, I’m highly allergic to mold and mildew. I went to take a shower to help my reaction. There was hair on the walls and bug crawling across the floor. There was mold in the bath room on the tiles and floor.

The hotel had friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, plenty of parking, and was located in a central area surrounded by restaurants, places to shop, and gas stations.

Clean room I didn't like the outside doors were not secured. Anyone had access to side door. No key access needed. Especially around 10 p.m

When I arrived no lights worked except the lamp between the beds. TV wasn't working took over half hr to get fixed. Bathroom dirty sink with brown stains, found wet grey color wash cloth laying beside toilet and bath tub. Found blood stains on sheets in the bed the adjoining room my sister had. She found an even larger blood stain dried on her sheet. Manager would not come and look at my complaints. Had his boss on the phone and requested we give the key cards and leave the premises.Ask if I was wrong for complaining. I took pictures management refused to give me a receipt before we packed up and left. Have called multiple times false promises of a call to be returned. Disputing this matter. I don't recommend anyone staying here

Close to the Venue ( Wrestling National Tournament), Great value. The Bar area which looked very nice was closed the whole time we were there for our Stay.

Room updates stopped in the bathroom. Bed and main part of room had decent update, but bathroom was dated and unkept.

We thought the place was fairly priced and the bed was comfortable. The staff did what they were supposed to when asked if they could help. The “continental” breakfast they said they had was dry bagels and bread. Cereal was stale, and you had to make your own waffle with a George Forman . No eggs, no ham, no bacon. Not so much of a good breakfast.

It was close to the event No remote in room and phone was not working. Shower diverter was not working properly

The property was clean quiet cozy. It smelled a. It like marijuana smoke from other rooms but our room was fine. The toilet did have a leak when being flushed but other than that the room was good, perfect for an overbite stay.

The only good thing was the location. The room was dirty And very humid. We found pop cans and used tissues. I was told the room was clean . How could that be when there was garbage in the room . The hotel staff was not helpful. Also the room was never cleaned and never received new towels. I was told they were too busy .

Awful smell- my throat constricted, heavy breathing. Started in the lobby, continued in the room. Had to run out of the hotel within 10 minutes just to breathe. Everything falling apart. Just awful SO not worth the money, should be 50 bucks a night so people know what they're getting into. Do not come here if you have respiratory issues or want a clean place. This place should be bulldozed. ALSO booking.com gave me the run around, I called to try to cancel due to safety concerns (couldn't breathe!) After getting through AI and talking with agent he said it would be taken care of by morning. By morning my stay was "over" so no AI or agent could help cancel/refund.
