I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. Got a deal on the room but for what I paid, I expected more. . Although the rooms are semi up to date you can definitely tell that they just painted over very old walls/doors/cabinets etc. when I first walked in, there was a doorbell posted at the front desk stating to ring for service. I rang it and a woman came out stating someone would be right up. It was 10 mins before anyone came. However the gentleman that checked me in was very polite and helpful. The entire hotel smells like a basement. So much so that I walked around my room spraying perfume because of the strong mildew smell. You know it’s sketchy when the first thing you do when you walk in the room is pull back the sheets to check for bed bugs. Was booked for two days. Left after 1. Wouldn’t stay here again. Whole place just felt gross

They were in the middle of renovation and when I booked no body told us the facility is in middle of renovation, so it is not fair business. I do not recommend thsi place to anyone.

We did not use the outdoor pool but it looked nice and they cleaned it every day we were there. We could see it from our room window. The security lock on our door was loose. The screws were coming out of the door. We contacted the front desk and they said they would send someone. But that evening, nothing had been done to fix it. The hallway smelled of cigarettes although it was a non-smoking place. Our room did not smell of smoke. It smelled of strong air freshener. The room needed some updating (the toilet paper holder was rusted). The light just inside our room was burned out. The switch didn't turn on anything. But the shower had good water pressure and the water remained hot my entire shower. The room didn't have a closet, just a few places to hang clothes on the wall. The breakfast was very basic. There was a waffle machine, but that was the only 'hot' food available.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in!! nasty, moldy brown towel above the shower and vent. Human hair everywhere. Trash left outside the room from when we got there to when we left.! what a **** hole! Do not stay here!!

You may have to ask the staff about the television, as we was trying to play our PS5, the TV remote wouldn’t let us turn on the input (HDMI) for the PS5. Everything else was fantastic.

It just did not feel or look clean. No actual closet. I only stayed one night. Thank goodness

The room itself was unacceptable. It had a strong, unpleasant odor and did not appear to be properly cleaned or maintained. Instead of feeling comfortable, I spent my stay wondering why basic cleanliness standards weren’t being met. To make matters worse, there was little to no communication or clear direction from the staff. Questions were met with indifference rather than solutions, making an already frustrating experience even worse. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, respected, and cared for. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on every level. I cannot recommend staying here, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously by improving cleanliness, training staff on customer service, and creating a better experience for future guests.

The property was horrible! Got to the hotel someone was on the side of the building urinating on the wall. Got our key to the room and the room was not cleaned. Trash still in the bins and poopy towels hanging on the side of the shower. The sink had wet towels on the counter. Beds not made up. Did not stay. Complained and took photos and demanded my money back. Told me I have to contact management in the morning. Just don’t stay here!

Clean spacious rooms, pool area and games. Across from shopping and restaurants. Minutes from Cedar Point

An older hotel that hasn’t had a lot of updating done except paint.

We found bugs on the pillows, stains on the floors, we had to constantly go ask for clean towels. No one came to clean our room. Our keys had to be replaced twice and still didn’t work. Our sink was clogged and we told the front desk and they said they would have it fixed immediately and when we came back to the room it wasn’t done. The constant smell of marijuana and cigarettes in the halls was horrible. I will never stay here again and the owners should be ashamed.

Smelled terrible. Old and run down. Room wasn't very clean.
-
May have been mold in bathroom. Could use some updating.
-
No hot water, no chair in the room. I’ve never stayed in a king room with no sofa or chair. No ice bucket in the room. Just a terrible experience.

Terrible dirty rooms

The building is looking decent (you can tell they have made recent improvements), the room had much to be desired. Non-draining sink that was chipped and stained, bathtub had molded grout, and peeling wall. I did enjoy sitting by the outside pool in the morning reading, however when I tried to get back to my room and got lost, a staff member was quite rude and said you can't come through here (empty board room) not in a nice way at all. Breakfast is pulled completely at exactly 9am, don't be late. If you don't like instant coffee, skip it! The hotel was pretty full and had to seek out staff to refill items for breakfast. Good luck finding staff when you want something, except when you are checking in...odd?!?!

The bar wasn’t open, the breakfast is just cereal, bagels, and waffles. The pool was pretty much used as a personal pool party for the guests that were staying there as a little league baseball teams with over 50 people in the pool for hours. We couldn’t even get in because it was so crowded. They even brought in coolers full to the pool area.
