Best Western Plus Sandusky Hotel & Suites

The lady that took care of the breakfast room was especially friendly and helpful.

The ladies who prepped the food were super sweet and always greeting my family. The morning employees were always greeting us and being alerted which made me feel safe. The night employees were careless and didn’t really care about my complaints. The beds were stained and when asked for a new, it was denied. No one came into room to clean or clean. I had to go downstairs to ask for toilet paper. There were bugs in the room and in the pool area. Wishing we had more tv options to watch since we couldn’t mirror the phones to the tv.

I had a fun time there.

Breakfast room is too small. Has to wait for other people to finishes breakfast before we can find a seat.

No bathroom soap. Dirty bathroom corners with hair and idk what else. The fitted bed sheet was stretched out so bad it was coming off which is so damn gross. I would not recommend unless you had no other option.

The fountains were a great addition. The beds were comfortable. Decent parking. Breakfast was good Unstocked & dirty bathroom. Staff was unprofessional and slow. Dirty stairwell. No towels or hand soap, bugs, check-in after 9 pm was terrible. They also didn’t verify our identity.

2. No soap in the washroom. Had to go and ask specifically 3. The wifi was terrible. Takes hours to connect and if connected, Keeps disconnecting frequently. 4. The breakfast area is very small. Often long queues.

15 mins from cedar point. Large spacious room At check-in the front desk lady was rude and acted like everything she had to do was an inconvenience. When I got to my room the key didn’t work. A total of 3/5 keys I got didn’t work. The whole building felt like the AC was off or just not working. There was a DOOR propped open to the stairwell all day so literally anyone could have walked into the hotel without a key. The rooms are the only place that actually was cool. The breakfast choices were slim and not very good. Bed was hard and fitted sheet didn’t stay on bed and exposed the mattress which was stained up and disgusting to look at.

The room was Large size comfortable beds and Great breakfast staff was OK. But hotel nice and Clean.

An OK place to stay for a night or two. It was probably very nice in the earlier years, but it needs a glowup desperately. The bed was pretty comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Great shower, if that means anything for someone reading ;) The surroundings was great, everything with in a few minutes (restaurants, Walmart etc).

Location, cleanliness, laundry use, breakfast Refrigerator made an awful noise all night long, I had to get up multiple times to adjust the door for it to stop. I was guaranteed that it would be swapped out by the time we returned that day. It was not, I had to repeatedly ask for it to be taken care of. Maintenance finally showed up at 10 pm. We had to keep our perishables in the cooler while we waited. Staff kept saying 5-10 minutes when it actually took them over 12 hours to make it right.

Nasty ?

Value was ok. Just a place to sleep, spent the rest of the time at cedar pointe. The shower did not have any soap, shampoo and towels were dirty. Had to get new ones from the desk.

The bests were comfortable. The breakfast was good but quit to soon. It smelled bad, was understaffed, our room was never cleaned, towels were never replaced unless asked, very unfriendly staff, probably because they were overworked. The pool was more of an oversized hot tub. There was a party in the hotel banquet room and it was not controlled at all, music was to loud and vulgar, the front desk was visibly upset and not able to do anything....do not recommend this hotel.

Clean, safe, comfortable, and convenient location. Breakfast was decent. Staff was helpful & kind.

Rooms however.. sheets don’t stay on the bed. Our shower was broken and it had one temp.. hot! No one answered front desk phone. Had to pack all our stuff up to move down 3 floors for a shower, new room had no towels or soap!

Property manager would not refund/ transfer booking after Incorrect weekend was selected

Good: Location, price, breakfast

Breakfast was an enhanced breakfast, but the quality of the food was a little on the questionable side. Fresh waffles, fresh toast etc if you want which is nice. Staff was helpful, we asked for extra blankets and we received them with a smile Which is nice. We would stay again if needed.
