Agave Inn

I thought the breakfast was very good and had a great selection of options. The location was very convenient, especially being close enough to the highway that it was easy to get to and get back on the road when needed, and I wasn’t bothered by traffic noise during my stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice and spacious. Overall, I thought the breakfast, location, and room were all great. Honestly, I can’t think of much that could be improved because everything was clean, well-maintained, and worked as it should, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. During my second stay, I arrived late at night after a camping trip, and the front desk staff went out of her way to find me a room without a connecting door and even recommended a first-floor room to help minimize noise. Overall, I really don’t have anything negative to say—the staff and facilities were both excellent.

When we first arrived we were disappointed. Small parking lot and room right on the main street. Heard people talking for an hour right outside our room. We’re too afraid to ask them to stop as we had seen several homeless people earlier outside. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed comfortable and looked like it had been renovated. Not worth the $319 they were charging but it was the cheapest in Santa Barbara on a Saturday night!!

I had to book last minute for one night and the place was perfect for my stay, the cheerful lady at the reception was so nice and very helpful , the room had everything i needed, and the parking was a plus. I will definitely be back.

The Agave Inn was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and while the property is smaller they give you a tag to park in the next lot.

Shower pressure was great, quiet hotel, friendly staff.

I'm giving this hotel 3 stars. As for cleanliness, it was 5 stars; everything was very clean and exactly as pictured. However, my 3 stars are because we couldn't get a good night's sleep. The mattress was in very poor condition with a significant uneven surface, so we couldn't rest and woke up with back pain. For me, the most important thing in a hotel room is the comfort of the bed; it has to be super comfortable. That's why you're paying to rest, not to wake up with a sore back.
