Vagabond Inn Santa Barbara

Had to request an iron and ironing board. Felt safe on the premises.

We got a room for one night that was a few doors down from the check in office, closer to the street and the night and morning was noisy. Not to mention the AC made a really loud noise so we had to turn it off for the night. There was no shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer in the room. The towels were also very thin and poor quality. The bed was not very comfortable. I would not recommend for more than one night.

Its a nice hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and walking distance to restaurantsand stores. The only issue i had was the walls are extremely thin. You hear everything around you. Made it hard to sleep from all the noise.

Not a Hotel!!!!!! Very small room, Grade C MOTEL. Way overpriced !!! Even for Santa Barbara. Avoid at all costs. Signs everywhere regarding not being liable for theft and damage etc. Very sketchy place

I really like the location. It’s close to the freeway on ramp and close to downtown State Street.

The rooms are clean but they are really small. There seemed to be enough parking spots but during peak times it might fill up easily.

TV did not work.

Clean, central location, great staff

Interactions with staff was quiet. Upon entering the room, the floor was wet. Additionally, the room smelled heavily of chemicals and cleaner. Room was small but worked for sleeping purposes.

The location was great! Clean room and property. The only problem was the water was not hot enough for a shower.

Everything was average/above average. Except for the bed being extremely squeaky.

The front desk helper (Debbie) was annoyed at all times , if I needed to ring the room for another guest she made obvious I was bothering her.
