The location was perfect for us, close to the mission, pier, restaurants and shops. Staff were helpful, our room was a great size and we appreciated the courtyard with small table and chairs right outside our room. Parking was included and right outside our room. What we did not like were the beds, they were hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were not soft. One thing I absolutely could not stand was the air conditioning wall units!! It was right next to our bed at the bottom of a window and it was so loud it was hard to sleep, not sure who thought it was a good idea to put that there! I had to turn it off so that we could get some sleep, there was a functional window above it and that was the only way to get some cool air. I was not sure if our sliding door was missing a screen door, but it did not have one so we could not keep it open to avoid any mosquitos from coming into our room.

The room was very clean.

This was a nice Best Western till 6 months ago.I was there for a business trip and was greeted with having to take a cold shower 3 days in a row!..MOST UNACCEPABLE!..The staff told me to write a review to Hotels.com..it is obvious that they are having a problem with their water heating system and they could not admit it!.I have stayed here when it was The Pepper Tree and Marroit should be ashamed to present a property in this condition!....please be aware of this shoddy place...only one ice machine to be found on the entire property was in the pool area...no bag for dirty clothes...couldn't get shampoo, hair rinse,body wash,hand lotion,hand soap out of dispensers as they did not reach out far enough to get anything out!..so far from what I have had while staying here in the past!..shame on you,Marriott for allowing this property to be available..The price I paid was a joke compared to what I got!..SHAME ON YO ,MARRIOT!

We arrived approximately 1:30 and she distinctly said check in as 4:00 and we couldn’t get in until that or after!! She then said she would call us when the room was ready and never called back!!

They provide free breakfast. Room is clean, place is sufficiently quiet. Not walking distance from beach and downtown by foot.

The pool was very clean and the room was nice.

The rooms seems it was renovated from something like a Motel 6. Paint on the bathroom door was thick and would get stuck and hard to open/close. Gym was down the street and not on the premises, (strange). Breakfast was good.

My husband and I just stayed at FOUND over Labor Day. The hotel was sold out and busy, but the service was still excellent! There were many great things to recommend: a courtyard room with a grassy yard and patio set, a pool close by, a nice and roomy separate bathroom, a very cold refrigerator, parking right outside our room, a delicious breakfast with many choices, and friendly front desk clerks. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Santa Barbara.

Room and towels only freshened every other day and sometimes with prompting. Air conditioning was noisy. Sink stopper did not work. Breakfast offering was disappointing!! One and done then went elsewhere next five days.

The hotel was lovely but the A/C could’ve been positioned a little bit higher.
