Hyatt Place Santa Barbara

The stay was great. Rooms were cleaned and well maintained. Our stay was for a week and every day the room was cleaned. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Having the breakfast included was great, lots of options.

If there was free WIFI, no one mentioned this option at check out. the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We've stayed at other Hyatt locations and water was provide at initial check in. That would of been a plus. While the location is nice, surprised the front desk staff did not mirror the "look" of quality the hotel is.

The hotel and room was clean and well maintained. I paid $715.57 for two nights in a room with a queen sized bed and sofa couch. Parking is $10 per day, underground parking. Bathroom was modern and in good shape. Ammenities in the room were a flat screen TV that offered a very minimal menue of channels with very little entertainment included, a cube fridge. Other things we didn't use: Iron and ironing board, coffee maker, hair drier. There is a small pool and an excercise room with equipment. Considering the cost per day, the mediocre breakfast in the lobby consisted of a dreary selection of low grade coffee, orange juice made from mix, scrambled eggs made from powdered eggs, oat meal, dry breakfast cereal packets, low grade breads, bagel, waffles and artificial syrup that was very viscous and I suspect emulsified with methylcelullose. In short, considering my cost, the breakfast fare was very low grade. We opted to eat breakfast out the second morning. I would not return to this hotel.

Clean room, hotel is super modern and staff are very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this place for anyone especially families. The breakfast is excellent!

Room was good. Comfy bed and pillows. The only problem was the breakfast, options were good but were fully available, tables were not cleaned trash bins were full. Staff was not visible.

Friendly staff, the breakfast is a nice touch. I kinda hoped the fireplace would stay on a little later than 10 pm.

Friendly staff, held great conversations and were very pleasant to talk to. The hotel was always clean and had housekeeping that was great. There was a nice gym and breakfast was wonderful everyday. Going to stay again in the future because it was overall an amazing stay.
