Rodeway Inn Santa Clara El Camino Real

Found a couple of little friends in the room. One in the bathroom and one on the bed spread. Air conditioning works great. The pool could use some cleaning in order for guests to use.

So I had a 3 night stay. Once I got to my room 228 the cable was out and tv remote was not working. Call the front desk and the guy that check me in came the room look at the cable box and tv remote. He told me this will be fixed and left. Next morning I turn on the tv and still no cable. Once again I call the front desk and a female told me to email her the back of the cable box with serial number and message on tv screen, so I did. Now I go Starbucks to enjoy my coffee and read my book. Later I come back to the my room and still no cable. Now I wake up the following morning and still No Cable!!! Now I walk to the lobby and talk to the female in person, “so she told me she try to call me on the motel phone in my room when I was at Starbucks”. Why didn’t she leave a message and try to reach me on my cell that they do have my number. All I hear was excuse after excuse no sorry or try to make it right or switch me to another room or some type of compensation for the inconvenience. Management had no communication and no follow up. Unprofessional!! All the hotels I stayed at this was the worst!

I woke up in the middle of the night and found cockroachs in the bathroom and tub. We checked out the next morning and early.

Thin walls, thin towels, sheets that smelled, a questionable neighborhood and unhelpful staff. Stay anywhere else.

Reasonable place for a budget stay. Good value for money.

The location is great, with an abundance of restaurants to choose from. In the room, the bed was decent but had 2 roaches cross the floor, fridge froze everything even at lowest setting. Outlet next to microwave was not functional, had to reroute to another outlet. AC is located too high on the wall to adjust if even possible and no thermostat on wall. Luckily temp outside was mild enough so temp was fine. It was tolerable for a 2 night stay.

I always enjoy my stay there. If it's within my budget that's where I'm staying.

Good room for the price, location was convenient!

Comfortable, clean, and surrounded by great restaurants—best of all, it has washing machines and dryers, which is a huge help for travelers.

The hotel has what you need but it needs some work to make it look nicer. Not much around either.

The air conditioning is not working.

Very poor service morning shift front office?

Breakfast was more than we expected which was a nice surprise.
