Courtyard by Marriott Santa Cruz

This was the perfect family hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach and boardwalk made it perfect.

The room and restroom was nice and clean.

Pros: it was clean, conveniently located to boardwalk, the pool is heated and double room was large with high ceilings even being on the 1st floor. Cons: finding staff for coffee bar during day is tough. Breakfast only in lobby area not brought to room option was tough with little kids, they don’t have children high chairs or seats in restaurant area and no on hand menus just a board next to register. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Your room charges are not available to you if booked through hotels.com. I did not understand why they couldn’t give me my total charges.

Room was nice and clean, only problem I can say was noise from people either nearby or above, as if there was people dropping things that were pretty loud

I love this hotel!! It’s very clean, rooms are amazing. Very safe. You need a room key to use the elevator. Very short walk to the boardwalk, pier or beach. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Forced to use Valet and didnt know ahead of time. I like to get in and out of my car and be able to come and go as I please when I please, and it was hard to do that when I valet park. If you like valet, go for it!! The valet guys were a little harsh when I told them I didnt want to, and kind of just brushed me off...otherwise its a 5 star establishment

Great location, one block to the boardwalk. The hotel is clean and well maintained. My only negative is parking, which was valet only and $35 a day, and the staff. I called to get towels in the morning, nothing was delivered. I called again in the evening and they said sorry we were busy and we will send them right away. Didn’t get any until almost 9pm.

Our room was clean, but shower was backed up every time we took a shower and the bathroom sink backed up all dirty stuff from the pipes

We love staying here. The staff is great. Valet is easy and convenient. The location is perfect, a quick walk to the boardwalk. The room was clean and bigger than expected. Excellent staff. Pool was very nice and anytime we went nobody else was there. Well definitely stay here again!

We had a room that was very spacious with high ceilings. With 3 boys it was great for them to run around in. It was just a short walk from the boardwalk.

Highly recommended & will stay here again.
