Good hotel, reasonable price and not far from the boardwalk.

Overall, we had a good stay. We booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool and hot tubs, so it was disappointing that the hot tubs were out of service during our visit. Our room had a nice little patio, which we really enjoyed. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but it did have a noticeable pet odor, which wasn’t ideal. The location was great and within walking distance of the boardwalk, making it very convenient.

The description where I booked the room said there would be breakfast and we were told in the morning there wouldn’t be.

Front desk is rude not friendly

Needs to be cleaner and the ice machines none worked the owners and staff not so friendly very rude

We were very excited about our stay at Hotel Solares based on the photos and Information online; however, when we got there we learned that there was no breakfast as advertised, even witnessed a guys get kicked out because she was getting very hostile at the front desk over the misleading information. The flies though were the worst part. Flies everywhere! We walked into out room and immediately were met with 8 flies. I know because I counted and killed each one. There was no hair dryer in our room and the complimentary shampoo and conditioner were not the ones in the pictures. The rooms were dirty and not wiped down. It seemed as if all they did between guests was change the bedding and towels. We had rooms on the 1st floor by pool. I am not sure if the flies were an issue on other floors. But if you stay here, bring fly/bug spray. The courtyard was very nice as pictured, but full of flies as well. We would love to stay here again for the location, but the flies really disgusted us.

Overall a great stay the only thing I would change is the smell when you first walk in other than that it was a perfect stay

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds 10 min walk to boardwalk and 15 min walk downtown.

The hotel room was dirty. We found a hair on the bed. There was flies in the room. The bathroom could been cleaner. We found a pincher bug in there. There was hair in the bathroom ceiling.

Everything was fine, though the cleaning could have used a bit more attention to detail.

Was a great hotel for the price

The room was clean and a good size. Very comfortable. It was me, my husband and 2 small children. The pool area was nice although we did not get to use it because it was chilly outside. It is walking distance to the boardwalk. The entire hotel was very clean. Free parking was nice as well.

Rooms are clean and parking is available and convenient.

My husband and son stayed here and there was garbage under the bed and the room wasn’t that clean. Only good for location wouldn’t stay here again

Probably didn’t get the the larger room we paid for. I wife asked very nicely upon arrival. He said no , I watched the rooms during our stay that had nicer bigger balconies. No movement in those nicer rooms .

Hotel was good , we liked that it was walking distance to the Boardwalk and a 15min drive to the Mystery Spot.

The hotel was decent for a one night stay with a toddler, the outlets to charge our phones by the nightstand didn't seem to work, found out in the morning when I realized my phone battery died while plugged in. Staff at check in did not provide the usual information such as where to park, coffee machine usage in the lobby, or just an "hope you enjoy your stay let us know if you need anything." I'm used to most staff at hotels saying something to that effect when checking in. I do not think I would stay here again.
