The rooms were clean. The atmosphere felt unsafe and shady. If you need a room in a pinch for under $100 this will work. Do not take kids.

Clean and quiet…all we needed. You can tell they care. Seems like they have maintenance and improvement projects going on. Bottom line, we felt sale and comfortable.

Towels are not clean

This is not the hotel to book for a nice stay in Santa Fe. I was blind-sided by several things: walking into the property and smelling cannabis smoke, guests propping open doors to let in non-guests (particularly vagrants who I’d seen standing on the street before entering the hotel through propped open doors, ice machines were out of order, the hotel had a general vibe of “the back rooms”, poor air flow/air quality, handrails on stairs that seemed to be on the edge of breaking. We realized our mistake and checked out early, just driving back home instead of staying in Santa Fe.

The Hotel Inn is an older building that is slowly getting updated. The beds are comfortable, bedsheets and towels have always been unblemished. The rooms are clean and have basic appliances; refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, TV, air-conditioner. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Don't bother wasting your money here. Place was crawling with homeless drug addicts. Did not feel safe at all. Had to change one room because there was a very strong odor of urine, it was disgusting. Stay here if you got no other choice.

The staff was great! He was friendly when checking in and out. The room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. Its a spring bed without much padding. Same with the pillows. When trying to call the front office for more towels the phone in the room did not work. There were no instructions on how to use it either. Overall it wasn't terrible for the price.

Checked in on a Saturday night, didn’t realize there was a club attached to the hotel that interferes with parking. There were very sketchy groups of people on bikes in huddles in the parking lot that also made it hard to park. Broken glass was also in the parking lot as evidence that cars are broken into here. The staff member looked to be on drugs and was physically running through the hallways of the hotel. The staff member also gave us a “free upgrade” that we NEVER ASKED FOR into a double queen bed when we are one couple that booked a single king bed for a reason. When we went downstairs to fix this, my husband almost fell and went through the handles on the stairs- they were so wobbly it is genuinely scary. Once inside our room we found blood on the single clean towel in the bathroom, the screen to our window popped out and on the balcony, and no door to actually access the balcony. What a horrible experience all around.

This was a great affordable place to stay for the night as I was traveling on a long road trip. No frills, but all the things I wanted - especially the nice, comfortable bed and fridge. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Very nice, esp for the pricey Santa fe area. Coffee in the room, nice thick towels,c good sheets. Nice location, a few miles down main drag to the plaza. Denny's across street & Chinese restaurant w bar/ dancing next door. A microwave + fridge in room, always a plus! I'd stay here again.

Staff was great 😊

The TV was a pleasant surprise, with HBO Max and several premium channels available. The room itself, however, was very dated and in need of renovation. While the sheets and towels were clean, there was no hairdryer in the room. One of my biggest concerns was the condition of the hotel grounds. While walking my dog, I noticed trash scattered throughout the property, along with broken glass and dog waste. I understand the area faces challenges, including a significant homeless population, but the hotel should still prioritize keeping the premises clean and safe. Broken glass poses a hazard to both pets and vehicles, and better property maintenance would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Police busted a drug ring there on the first day of my stay. The whole place was crawling with police officers during that fiasco. The property is run down and the pictures posted do not show what it actually looks like. There were dark red/brown stains on the comforter. The whole place smelled like fish. Someone who appeared intoxicated tried to get in my room. People screaming at each other at all hours. Babies crying. I wish I was exaggerating.
