Room was clean, not much space but great place for the cost!

The unit itself was attractive and functional and within a 20-25 minute walk from the beach and pier area. We drove to the pier for the evening (the street spots were taken, so we spent $20 to park in the pier parking lot!) because we weren't sure how safe it would have been to walk back to the room after dark, but we would have been fine. If feeling safe, having a nicely maintained unit, and being in close proximity to the beach is important and you're not looking for extra frills, this seemed like a nice choice for the money compared to the high end options.

Great location and pleasant quirky motel. Loved the courtyard and the security.

Good location for the price. Very strange check in done with a robot that asked you to scan your id and show your credit card to a screen, it then dispense two keys from the machine.

Location. Beds comfy. Nothing.

Our room was small but sufficient. There is not coffee in the room or onsite. There was no ice onsite that I could find. Hotel appeared clean and grounds nice. Check in was easy. I would stay again.

Great location, still one of the more affordable places to stay in LA There are not enough parking spaces at the motel, we were here for 2 nights and never got a spot so we had to find another spot in the neighbourhood. Don’t promise parking spaces when there are not enough available. We could hear everything through our walls. They were super thin.

Resthaven was a quiet and clean motel with air conditioning! We loved that we could walk to Starbucks, Walgreens and Santa Monica beach!

Location near Santa Monica pier was good. Room was clean and in good order. No breakfast and very expensive.

The bed frame, cherry wood like, was beautiful. I had a good night rest, and that was my objective of going there. Cool there was a safe. Like the desk table as well You MUST make suren the drain is clear running. The basin had a slow drain and so did the shower! Not cool; not good!!! Housekeepers do a better job because that was completely a turn off. Stock the place with more than one roll of TP and have enough Kleenex!

When we come back to Santa Monica.. This 5 star motel is our home away from home. Reasonable price too..

It is close to shops, laundromats, Walgreens, etc.
