Hotel has a unique style but there's NO air-conditioning. It's in a hot/warm place but NO air-conditioned and it's NOT comfortable.
-
No air con and no fridge during very hot summer weather

Conveniently located for shops and local attractions, about one mile gentle walk to the pier. Our room was ready for check in one hour before the allocated time and our cases were held securely after we checked out so we had some time for shopping before we left. Would highly recommend.

Great staff and very clean. Wish it had AC but overall a lovely experience. Easy access to lots of places in Santa Monica.

Found bug in bed. Left in the place without even sleeping there

It was a nice stay og the staff was very helpful

Parking, patio, close by good stuff. No A/C or fridge, if that’s important to you.

No AC in the rooms and we were not told by check in staff before going up. Not broken, there is no AC. No solution offered besides use the portable fans in the room. They should’ve been upfront with the situation at the check in iPads so we could’ve found a different hotel to stay at because at this point it is too late to find and move to a new hotel since we have an event at dinner time.

Lovely hotel , great staff , good location and really stylish

Other than the entrance into the property, everything was excellent

Beau petit motel, bien situé , personnel agréable , stationnement facile, mais il n’y avait pas d’air climatisé ni de réfrigérateur dans les chambres.

Location, friendly staff No air conditioning in July is a bit uncomfortable

We stayed in the summer during a very hot week and the whole facility did not have AC so it was hotter inside the room than outside. The staff offered to get us box fans which weren’t very helpful. The room was nicely decorated you can tell there have been some updates to improve, but we noticed small mosquitoes throughout the room and that could have possibly been because of the heat. The parking was terrible it’s so small and compact you have to get out of your car if you’re a passenger so that the driver can park. I will never stay here again.

Hotel had everything we needed for a few nights - staff were very helpful. Room was cool despite no air con. Parking was always available.

Rooms have no air conditioning. Website says a 12 minute walk to beach. It's more like 30. Hotel refused to give a refund for the room before I even checked in and then charged a 100 deposit plus another 50 for other fees not mentioned on website. Very high price for very basic room. Also beds were supposed to be queen and only had doubles. So all together after room charge and fees paid 750$ for only 2 nights. We could have stayed at a higher end hotel for this price. Not sure how this is a 3 star. Also we had to pay a resort fee? This is a motel for sure. Not satisfied at all with our stay at this motel. Also very noisy. People getting in and out of vehicles all night and you have to sleep with the windows open all night just to get air with shady people hanging around everywhere.

Cute place with nice rooms. No A/C when there's a heat wave in LA is not good. Very uncomfortable even in Santa Monica. The shared patio is odd and guests are right outside your door/window making privacy non-existent. Not much walkable for dining so plan to drive or Uber. Not my return choice but again cute.

Close to lots of restaurants and activities.

The bathroom is laid out weirdly, with the sink outside of the main bathroom, and the mirror to the left of the sink over the mini fridge. The mattress and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no place to refill my water bottle, so I had to use the overpriced $6 bottle in the room. The mini fridge was turned off, rendering it useless to us. TV was ridiculously tiny, and the channel numbers were weird, and there was no guide. My biggest gripe is the air conditioning, which flat out did not work in our room. We tried switching it on, and nothing happened. So we were stuck with the ceiling fan, which made a ton of noise. Worth noting that we stayed in the middle of July, with a lot of heat. They also charged extra fees when we checked out. Expedia's big thing is that all taxes and fees are included, but not at this place apparently. Still had to pay around $30 or so when checking out. We stayed at another hotel on the trip and that one didn't do it, so it was just this place.
