Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica

Check in was friendly and the room was pretty clean. The room location was extremely bad--I have never seen worse. Almost inexplicable for a Hyatt. It was literally immediately adjoining a pool, but the pool belongs to an apartment complex next door and except for a prison-like iron gate, we could have jumped right in. Bizarre and uncomfortable. The room was billed as city view, but it was not even that--it was a crummy apartment view. Hardly up to Hyatt standards--or so I thought. Worse of all, we were told that booking.com reservations were given absolute last priority and we got what we got. Felt like a second class citizen.

Ana the receptionist gave us a warm welcome and was exceedingly helpful, friendly and professional. Everything about our stay was superb!

We had an excellent 4 night stay and took advantage of the breakfast option. Everything was great.

Just okay. It felt a bit dated. Loud at times on the lower floors. Pool very small.

So convenient to walk to beach restaurants and all local attractions, the pool area was so pretty the bar and restaurant excellent entire staff from valet to check in and especially housekeeping was so friendly helpful and kind we will definitely be staying there many more times

This is certainly not the Hyatt I used to experience in Europe.

The decor in the room and the spacious it was. The staff. Most of them were rude. Like you were bothering them. The breakfast area was a mess. First day took them 20min to come to our table. But the worst of all was that my mom got stollen items and no one acknowledged. The day we were checking out my parents had a suite ocean front and could leave at 12:30 but from 10am the housekeeper was knocking on the door for them to leave.

Very clean, airy, spacious and room was more than ample Really can’t think of anything ! For the end of our West Coast tour, which started at San Francisco and was very hectic but fun, this hotel offered a quiet plush oasis of calm (after more sight seeing and walking!). Staff exceptionally friendly and gracious. Decor was beautiful, our room was amazing.
