Great location Did not get room serviced after the 1st nite - it was weird, I was expecting it, even left the room when I saw they were cleaning the rooms but they skipped my room. It would have been nice & they should have texted me to ask if I needed anything. Also, the heat unit was separate from the air conditioning and was confusing ….. it got really cold when I was there (47 degrees) and again, it would have been nice to receive a text to explain how to use the separate units. No one on site to ask - only way to communicate with property management was by text. Ok, but seemed a little lax

We had the 2-bedroom suite and it was everything we needed. The room was very spacious and clean and there were plenty of towels. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. I loved that we got a text when housekeeping was available and I could just text back if I needed anything. It was a great experience.

This was the cleanest motel room I have ever staryed in. The staff was very helpful. We had a kitchen in our suite. It had everything, including a smaller regular refrigerator, dishtowel, sponge, dishsoap, & pleanty of coffee pods. Once the traffic dies down at night (it's close to the road) it is pretty quiet. The shower water was horrific. It took forever to get to a temperature you could stand under. I get my hair lathered up, then out of nowhere it went ice cold. It took several minutes to get it back to a decent temperature then - it went scalding hot. This went on the entire shower. It was terrible. They left two guests staying several nights 2 towels & 2 wash cloths. I found 2 extra towels on top of the room closet. The listing said the mattress was memory foam but it was not. It was the hardest mattress we've ever slept on. It caused my hips/shoulders and my husband's shoulders a lot of pain during & after sleep. The rug used in our room was pieced together squares that were not secured to the floor. I tripped on one (where a gap was) & twisted my ankle, fell on my knees & bruised them. As for the "Partial Water View" & the images of the pretty sitting areas in the yard - I'll just say it's all extremely misleading. We never saw anyone in the lobby. It was a self-service room. It didn't have what we needed. They do text you every morning asking if you have everything you need, which was very nice. When I did text them what I needed they responded within 10 minutes. I don't think we will return because it just wasn't comfortable, but I wish them the best.

Room was clean and comfortable with large closet and fully equipped kitchenette with full sized appliances. Good location with chairs by room to sit and enjoy lake view and two gazebos on pond to enjoy. Close to downtown with boat and bicycle rentals available on premises. Good communication and amenities. Will return for a longer stay in future.

Cleanliness and location Needs updating

Over the last 40 years I have stayed at that location. Several times I used to know the old owner Steve the location is perfect. The staff was absolutely incredible. It was a clean room. The only thing I would say is that I believe the carpet in that room has been there since the 90s it needs to be replaced.

It is basic no frills The owner of Sara Placid is extremely helpful. The cleaning staff is very attentive.
