Room was nice,clean quiet I don’t know when “room service” turned into you having to go downstairs and pick up your own food. For the high price of not so great food, it should be brought to your room.

The room and overall hotel were clean and quiet EXCEPT for the air conditioning unit in the room. The primary reason for staying at a hotel is to get a good night's sleep. And this hotel did NOT deliver on that. My room was clean although it had a subtle vinegar odor when I first walked in, but thankfully the bathroom had a very clean bleach-like scent. The main problem was the air conditioning unit. The rooms appeared to be recently remodeled, but they left the old LOUD air conditioning units in the wall. They are called PTAC units in the industry, and are the ones mounted under the window in most mid to low tier properties. I was in room 507 and the A/C unit was insanely loud. I hope they will let me add the video I took. I need the room to be cold to sleep, so I set the unit on the lowest setting. The colder it got, the louder the unit became. I actually got up and checked the AC unit filters, which were clean, but holy crap the unit was so loud. I worked in a hotel/confernce center for many years. We did not have PTAC units in the rooms. I could have asked to be moved to another room, but these PTAC AC units are notoriously loud so I knew if I went to the trouble to get all my luggage together and move, it's likely the unit in the replacement room would have been just as loud. I got about 3 hours of sleep after heavily medicating. I won't be staying here again.

We checked in on Friday afternoon. Sunday afternoon we asked cleaning staff to please clean the room. When we left for dinner around 4pm we also asked the lady at front desk to have the room cleaned. She assured us she would. By Sunday night when we returned our room had not been touched. Not even fresh towels. We had to go get towels ourselves. Also when we checked in we learned that breakfast was not included eventhough it stated so on the website. The desk attendant told us it was not included because we booked through a third party. That should have been made clear during booking. We have never had these issues with Hilton before.

There was a smell in the hallway when we exited the elevator. I thought it smelled like fresh paint and my son-in-law thought it smelled like a locker room. I called the front desk to inquire about it and they said they would check into it and call me back which did not happen. I told a different front desk clerk about it when I checked out and she took my information to give the manager and said she would call me. She did not call. I called two days later to follow up and waited while they checked records but could not find anything. Also, the hallways seemed very warm and humid, more so than one would expect. They also seem to nickel and dime you. Bottled water in the room was $3.00 and a $16 breakfast for food not freshly made with no discounts for small children.

The place has been updated and looks great however, even with the removal of the pool, parking gets very crowded. Outside of that, our stay was great!

Great location neart hospital, friendly staff, clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious room. Fitness center was clean and well supplied. Breakfast was first class with a great cook.
